I like this guy being realistic! Just too many people in general think, that they finish some school, have 3 years of practice and that´s it. Then they open their own business and wonder, why they are not successfull like they believed to become. Well, that´s because those people are too keen on money without willing to sacrifice the time needed to truly master something. If money and power is the primary goal, then failure is certain.

Hi got that German Journalist just right! I lived there for a year, and they are in your face with no Bs, about anything and say it's honesty. F your feelings. It's kind of good to know, but I would not want to be interviewed with that attitude.

why did this show up as an ad prior to another video I tried to watch... I had my adblock working so that I just had to sit through the ads and wouldn't have the video interrupted, and suddenly I have an EIGHTEEN MINUTE AD PLAYING BEFORE A TWENTY MINUTE VIDEO! I know this isn't your fault, but someone needs to have a good long talk with the execs at KZbin about ad length prior to videos, and frequency during videos. This is insanity now... I literally would have had to sit through an unskippable video prior to watching the video I wanted to see. Perhaps youtube owes you (the creator) more ad revenue for that kind of thing?

I’m a huge Bill Hader fan, I miss him making things since Barry ended. I always love hearing his stories of anxiety on SNL because he was one of my all time favorite cast members. I almost wish I could go back in time to tell him when he was on the show “hey man, some of us love your work on the show, you don’t need to worry so much”

You know, I watch a lot of interviews, and I’ve realized that the art of interviewing has become lost. My theory is that a lot of interviewers today, especially if that is what they do for a living, are trying to be a personality themselves and it detracts from the interview. I can’t even count how many times listening to an interview I hear the host cutting off the guest, or talking over them, and I think “goddamn, you know I came to listen to the guest, I could care less about you as the interviewer”. But in this series it’s the opposite, I’m a big fan of the Roots and of Quest but ironically he’s an amazing interviewer, he knows when to shut up and let the guest talk, he knows when it’s relative to add a story of his own, but they’re short and to the point and he doesn’t make himself the center of attention. I’m so damned impressed by how good he is at this. Just another thing on the list of things that make Quest a legend.

Michael Che is amazing, such a funny guy, plus he’s got this underlying mean streak that isn’t malicious, but makes his comedy so great. It’s funny what he said about his sister, the first time I saw a dead body (it was at a funeral home) I was probably 18 or 19, it was a relative I didn’t know, but when I walked up to the casket the urge to burst out laughing was so strong I had to quickly walk away. I was horrified, and when I brought it up to my immediate family who was there with me, they were all like “that’s not that weird, don’t worry too much about it, people process stuff like this differently”. Thank god I had family that were understanding. So I totally relate to that story he told about his sister.
