I think we need to add emotional connection to the mix, since it is super important. Chemistry gets a relationship going, but is not long-lasting. On the other hand, emotional connection is the real glue that binds two people together and is built over time. Compatibility is the set of values/goals that determine if you can be a couple over the long haul. Compatibility tends to be the more functional aspect of a relationship. But, you need all of them to be successful. Of the three, I would say emotional connection is the most difficult. If you only have compatibility, then you are friends.

Hi kate, im trying to work out whether my gf actually cheated on me or not. Or if i can call it cheating more like. She goes out clubbing once every 1 or 2 weeks, and never invites me because she just wants to "dance with her friends", but last week i decided to go out with my friends for the first time ever to the club. She didnt know i was coming and when i entered she was rubbing her nose on another guys nose and running her one hand through his hair with her other arm around him. She was very clearly flirting with him, but also she was very drunk. The guys on her volleyball team so she already has his number and I'm pretty certain that they haven't slept together. She was shocked to see me there and although she has apologized, im not sure if i can call that cheating or even how to move past it. Second thing i wanted to add, was in ur video u said that men shouldn't be allowed to be friends with women while in a relationship or vise versa, but i think thats quite old fashion. Today's society has so many homosexuals; i used to date a girl who was bi, and it wasn't like i could say " well i guess u cant have any friends at all", so i realized it was more of a trust thing and iv tried to carry that throughout all my relationships since. Even i have some female friends, but I'm so dedicated to my partner that they may as well all be dudes since i have no attention to them at all.

My partner and I been following each other on Instagram for a year and now unfollowed me, while we still talk to each other on there. My partner prefer to keep their dating life private or not see a reason to post their love life on social media. We think that for the moment it is not good to be together. We are not into long distance relationships. This lends itself to misunderstandings. He lives an hour and a half away from me, but will live in the same city next year. His mom and family also lives here that's another reason why he wants to move in the same city. It’s better to take it easy and next year when my partner is alive we could talk about something serious. At this time it is not advisable to maintain any relationship because he has things going on such as work. It's not the end of the world because next year we can formalize a committed relationship that we want to be in. 🥰

amish women have no problem getting into committed relationships. they don't extend their education beyond 8th grade, they don't engage in premarital sex and divorce and feticide aren't allowed. modern women are the ones who are afraid of/don't want commitment; they want casual sex, a long education, a job of their own and the legal ability to leave whenever they want. men are simply acknowledging the fact that modern women are no longer interested in their traditional roles. you can't claim you want clean air, fresh food and a simple life and live in a city with lots of pollution, no farming and a hectic schedule. if you want commitment from men you'll have to commit to them.

Hey Ms. Kate Durocher, I saw the videos on your channel. Your video content is excellent. To grow & increase the view of your channel you need to optimize your videos. Inspite all of your efforts videos are not being viewed. Video SEO Score is very low. The title, Description, and Tags are not SEO-friendly. Videos are not shared on Social Media platforms and many other problems are found on your KZbin Channel. If your channel is optimized a little and if the videos are SEO friendly then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow. So immediately need SEO for your Videos & KZbin channel. Do you want to improve those problems and grow your KZbin Channel?

In the long term the compatibility and emotional connection is a big key. But during the initial phase of trying to attract a mate looks are essential. Men are especially are effected by their physical appearance. Daily we hear that women only want the top 10% of men. Tall, handsome, muscular, with the appearance of wealth and social status. 90% of men walking around are completely invisible to women. A woman's personal choice does come into the equation here. Which is perfectly fine and understandable. But the issue comes when they have to share the top 10% of men with other women. Actually some women are fine with this. Men who do not meet these high standards may not ever get a chance to show what they truly bring to a relationship because they are not given the chance to present these attributes. Only in their later years do women begin to lower their high standards when it's time for marriage and a possible family. Looks don't matter as much then. Only if he is a good man who can protect and be provisional. These relationships typically lack any true genuine physical desire for the man. That was saved for that guy in her past that brought absolutely nothing tangible to the relationship. But she gave him her all. The man she settled for experiences only transactional intimacy. She gives him only enough intimacy to keep him providing. A man is attracted to beauty and health. But had much rather have a woman who respects him and appreciates his efforts. When a man decided to get into a relationship, who ever he is dating is who he picks. Regardless what job she has or how much she makes. Is she kind, quiet, respectful, and does she bring him peace. So that guy in college in your friend zone. What ever happened to him. You knew he was interested in you. But he didn't have the physical characteristics you desired and he wasn't the Alpha Bad Boy that turned you on. What's he doing now ?

You aren't even going to go out if there isn't physical attraction. Watch a few youtube videos on dating.
@coachkatedurocher7 ай бұрын
There needs to be a baseline of attraction, yes… but you can actively choose who you go out with regardless of their looks. And giving someone who isn’t your normal type a chance may end up allowing you to meet the best person for you!

Does compatibility lead to chemistry?
@coachkatedurocher8 ай бұрын
Absolutely!! But also I’d say it leads to something better even. It leads to respect, trust, a deep connection based on a foundation that isn’t fleeting. It can build to so much!

What during the first kiss you feel nothing, does it mean there is no chemistry at all?
@coachkatedurocher8 ай бұрын
Not necessarily - chemistry sometimes takes time to build and it can be built through compatibility first too
@_xBrokenxDreamsx_5 ай бұрын
nope.. chemistry, connection and compatibility are different things. body/mind/lifestyle. without chemistry you're just friends, without connection you're just friends with benefits and without compatibility you won't want to live together.

Good analysis! The main problem with "choices" in the dating apps is that even an average looking woman has dozens if not hundreds of potential matches while the regular guy struggles to get a single match, nevermind a date... Im ralking out personal experience, never had nay issues getting gfs in real life but on dating apps I struggle. Most women will go for the top 20% of the most attractive giys out there and will ignore the rest. And the list goes on...
