I got the Fantom 6 EX, and decided almost immediately that the seemingly bolted-on-at-the-last-minute superfluous Analog Filter was worthless. I always wondered why it was even there. Thanks for confirming its utter uselessness. I love everything else about the Fantom and just pretend the button isn't even there. The irony is they put a big white border around it to make it stand out from all of the other (useful) buttons. Maybe as a take on the old "DO NOT PRESS THIS BUTTON!" cartoon joke?

Nice review and playing. Totally agree about the connection in person. Pure sound I favor my OB6 slightly more, but P6 is more versatile. Love them both and hope to add another model in the future. P10 and OB-x8 sound mighty juicy.

I'm buying a Fantom 08 in a few weeks. Will that keyboard do what you're demoing here?

My only gripe is that the "encoder knobs" are the type that endlessly go round , I prefer the 9-5 type so quick changes can be done , When changing the LFO knobs , it a real pain to move them to a "knowable" position. My MPCX has the same enless encoders , and they are awful . REAL knobs win. But the synth is fantastic ! and i can always assign the LFO knobs to the slider and latch it . . . . so . . . . . . ., oh lastly , an LFO delay would be nice , but again , you can assign it to an envelope and delay it . . . . . . Thankyou for making these Sequential ! i got a mint SE for a 1000 Pounds .
