That is THE BEST lawnmower JD ever made.. I still use mine twice a week on my immediate yard,(two acres). I used it for a while cutting my side yards, ( 6 acres) . This engine and form factor and transaxle and deck JD should have kept making. it is nimble, very smooth and very quiet machine... keep it well serviced, , lubed, etc it will last forever .

Very informative lawn tractor repairing video. Glad to see the engine restart again after the carburetor swap. I'm wondering whether you're up for a collaboration? Hipa supplies parts for small engines and you get the knowledge on outdoor power equipment repairing. Maybe we would work together to help more people in the community?

Who is it compared to the sport quads? Isn't it a sport quad as well ?
@Zack_RaefskiАй бұрын
Personally I’ve always had a soft spot for these quads, they don’t really compare to a normal sport quad other than the fact they are 2wd. Like I said they are pretty much in a class of their own, it’s just way too much power and super fun lol it’s a good trail riding machine being you don’t have to shift. But one day I’ll get another clutch sport quad
@danieldigiuseppe7912Ай бұрын
@Zack_Raefski yes I've never ridden one. But have been obsessing about them.

@Zack_RaefskiАй бұрын
I was spraying it at the intake for the carb, the air filter and cover sits on top of the engine. And the starter is on the side of the engine, should have a thick red power wire going too it

Without a muffler in most states it wouldn’t pass inspection, back when I had this truck I just did the muffler delete after inspection. In Maryland you only had to get it inspected once but I’m not sure about other states

I bought that same headlight for my 84 200s. Did yours have like an extra bulb mounted inside the housing? Cause mine did and im still trying to figure that one out lol If you cant find that hardware for the fenders, i got a set from mine. I put black plastics on mine, and I cut off the edge of the rear fenders that had the holes for the flaps. So im never gonna use the hardware, probably look better on yours than in a coffee can on the shelf.
@Zack_Raefski4 ай бұрын
Mine had a normal bulb in the housing when I got it, they gave me a LED in a box lol which I was surprised because it wasn’t in the description when I bought it. And it’s funny you say that because I just bought fender hardware off eBay an hour ago for $25 haha but I appreciate the offer man

Thank u love the vids want to c more😁🤝

Yes there is a way to reset it, it’s kind of hard to explain but if you google how to do it on a Kawasaki prairie it’s the same way.
