Just gameplay-wise, Basara is definitely better. The combat system has depth, each characters are unique in how their combo chain works and has hidden mechanics which we have to practice to make full use of. It's quite fun to learn each character. Stage design is...welll...literally 'stages'. They are more like classic arcade beat 'em up stages with goofy shenanigans. I don't necessarily think it's better than the battlefield-esque design from Koei, but it is a breath of fresh air. Character and world design is ball-to-the-wall with the crazy anime shjt, and i absolutely love it. Capcom doesn't let historical accuracy hold it back, and just take creative liberty to create their own Sengoku era. Of course some characters' design are too far off from their historical counterpart for my liking (*cough Sakon, Ieyasu), but Koei had no excuse when designing Nene, Gracia and Motochika like that and i still like them. Overall, Basara is designed to be fun, pure chaotic goofy kind of fun. While the Musou is designed to cater to history nerds (not that's a bad thing mind you, i am a history nerd myself). P.S Music-wise Basara overall just slaps. So many good OST, character themes with variety combining different music genres. Not that the Musou franchise doesn't have kick-ass songs, but most of them are of the same style (again, not exactly a bad thing). I'm just saying Basara is more diversed with the music yet all the songs fit so well with the game world.

Dio vs Zoro??

Warriors games have little chaos compared to Sengoku Basara which is much needed for a musou game. If not handled well, it will be just flat out repetitive. I hate that Warriors games makes you do a lot of back tracking which just kills the flow of the games. There was a time while i almost fell asleep while playing Samurai Warriors😂

I think SB2 n 3 do super great at character design. And the game play was so easy to remember. I don't really like the 4, and 5 they are suck, and so much useless things happen, dat make SB look like Dynasty Warrior copycat. To complex at things. Well, SB 4 and 5 still suck at graphic, it hurt my eye. I think its more great if they take serious to develop character model. And layout gameplay (include english text). Cuz, back then I bet this game can be more great than DW fr.

Nope,Dynasty Warriors and Samurai warriors is better. Sengoku Basara is too poorly written,And the plot holes are there,The female characters make the Samurai Warriors and Dynasty warriors female characters look more realistic. Kasuga,Oichi,Nohime and Matsu won't shut up about Kenshin,Sasuke,Nagamasa,Nobunaga and Toshiie. Sengoku Basara is too out of place with its plot and is only a cash grab to get Koei Tecmo's fans for Crapcom who has been ruining their games ever since Shinji Mikami left.

Now what I see is that warriors games become so much boring right now because there's not any actual progression on characters or anything if the put some rpg mechanics it will turn out to be an interesting game but right I see them like very barebones games I have played lots of them but I just get boring and stop playing specially with empires games now basara has lots of fun although not being historical but relationship between characters is richer you can see their ideals. I have played basara 3 and has entertained me like no warriors games to date.
