When you power them on and off is there a delay? I want to use them in a light show but the hey to be instant light.

I think both are worth the price. The Stormtrooper looks good made fully out of plastic. Imagine if his undersuit was fabric and bunched up somewhere. On the other hand, making Vader's suit out of plastic, you had to sculpt a lof of fabric folds, which I guess might be more expensive than just giving him the a fabric undersuit. With both, if you want to go that route, you basically get a full costume. Looks as if you could sand off the undersuit parts from the Stormie. Put on a black, long-sleeved turtleneck and matching pants - done (well, you have to add all of the armour strapping). With Vader, you have to remove all of the electronics. I wonder if some people might actually do that...

We purchased two of these and plan to unbox and test them this weekend. A member of one of my Facebook Halloween groups decided to zip tie the light bar backwards so the lights aren't as aggressive and the actual LED's can't be seen. I'm definitely gonna give it a try! Thank ya'll for sharing!

There's an animated riendeer as well at home depot for this year but I wish it did more than move the head. Like give it servo movement with the ears the eyes and the head and mouth. And make it roudalph

Just received my stormtrooper today he was super easy to assemble but mines head will not move you can hear the motor going but his helmet is more like a bobblehead it doesn't move at all but is so loose you have to balance it just right or the head just falls to either side

I already noticed that these gargoyle heads on the front of the throne, look like the type of that gangster in Mandalorian season 2( gamorrean wrestlers situation)! Super cool review guys!

That booby havin' tongue Jabba was my default since forever, until they released the walmart version. I wish I still had its predecessor, the Jabba glob. And unfortunately long ago I sold my vintage one...along with like 70% of my vintage figures. I made some good money, but boy I regret that. Not just 'cause I could get way more money now selling them, but for nostalgia reasons with having so many of them as a kid. Star Wars figures was my first love back in '82 as a two year old...then I got into He-Man. Jabba & Ewok stuff were my absolute favourites.

Hey, wondering what Boog means when it comes to the figure community? You have the OG Boog (the one everyone knows), but then you have several other channels that have that name incorporated. So surely it has some action figure/collector meaning.

9:51 The paint makes such a difference. I don't think the TRU & sail barge ones capture the realism and accuracy that this new one has. But like I said, they went to heavy-handed with the three big dark paint lines on the chin, plus the dark paint on the body (especially backside) is a bit too much. But these are things that can be remedied relatively easily with some paint. *Some droll would be great, but not when it's straight up uniform painted white lines. I'm trying to figure out the best (non-permanent) route to go to give him some realistic drool. Maybe mix green paint into some Pledge floor care liquid.

7:51 I know I already touched on this, but it's definitely the correct scale. Well technically they made Jabba a bit too tall, but they got the length right. We're so used to oversized Jabba's (especially the face proportions), so it makes total sense why looking at it, it comes off a bit small.

This is my first time getting this Jabba mold (latest one I have is that walmart exclusive one), and I initially thought it was undersized. Did some math, and it's accurate to 1/18 scale. So the thing that's throwing it off is the throne, it's definitely oversized. I wish they re-engineered the tail, like something akin to NECA Godzilla figures. Maybe four ball joints, then the end of the tail has a bendy wire. Even though he's the right length, they look a little stumpy with the tail not tapering enough; plus the heavy-handed thick paint lines in the chin area aren't great. All this aside, it's still hands down the best 3 3/4" Jabba, and I do really like it.

I was shocked when I opened up the shipping box to see how tiny the packaging is. Initially I thought they messed up and sent me the 6" Jabba lol. Just didn't look like there was any way you could fit all that stuff in that box...but boy did they do a good job of engineering everything like a master Tetris player.

Even though you don't have the Jabba's palace dio, putting the carbonite wall behind them still makes it look damn good. I think your thumbnail pic is the best I've seen on KZbin.

Love our animatronics. Wasn't super into them until yoda then we got darth and the storm trooper. Well, yesterday my wife our baby and I went to home depot. We saw one in stock of the murderous maple. She said get a cart! I couldn't believe it hahaha. So cool! Thanks for the vid guys!
