Excellent video and technical explanation. My first thought folowing the video was to change the capacitor which I have now done but measuring the removed cap it was 0.68micro farads. So did some voltage measurement using your circuit diagram. Upto the end of 100 ohm Resistors I get 249v ac. On the input to the bridge I only get 16v ac (why??) and then on the otherside of the bridge I only get 14v dc So when the relay is switched on its down to 10.5v dc. Obviously not enough voltage to pull in the contacts Any explanaion please. Oh and by the way there is a 1Mohm resistor across the capacitor.

Can’t the cranking amps be turned up a bit for an easier start! Much like a diesel engine ?

Can I ask, what connections are bridged inside the relay to send the call signal to the boiler? Is this a 240v line that switches the boiler heating on?

Can you convert locking pin to ball detent? I want a 2” extension for my 1/2” drive impact gun and most extensions are locking pin and I hate locking pin

Has anyone tried putting the speedo into a vacuum chamber? It might pull out the moisture......just saying!
@gwatts2745Ай бұрын
Do you have a vacuum chamber? Since he found that the unit isn't sealed, my thought was for him to use Rain-X on the inside glass to expel the water from the glass itself.

I mean lining up the brake caliper spacer on that side might be a bioatch on one side and same with spacer on other side. My caliper is one piece so i have to get the rotor between the brake pads and lining everything up. The rotor being in the brake pads while lining up is gonna be a bitch i think??

Had intermittent operation of this unit. Replaced the capacitor and all now working. Checked the value of the old capacitor and found it to be 0.34 microFarads.

Very informative, but you cannot add together reactance and resistance to find a total opposition to the flow of current but must use the formula for impedance Z.

Harley knows Speedo fog up, get moisture inside, so they should make them easy to repair.

Where on God's earth can I order parts for the Revtech 110 or is it just a paper weight at this point I've searched everywhere. And Custom Chrome does not respond
@DigitalFPV2 жыл бұрын
Hi sorry for not responding earlier! Yes very difficult to find parts for the Revtech engines! Many small parts use exactly the same spec parts as the Harley Evo 1999 big twin engine Example: Intake manifold seals and clamp rings On my engine I'm using Evo Primary case, drive train and Clutch Beware that the different series engines have some odd changes. Believe mine is series 3 which uses no head gasket The Rocker plate gasket on mine is different than all the revtech ones I've seen online and also different than the harley evo. I have the Revtech 5 speed gearbox which I can't find any parts for! I understand that Custom Chrome is the US agent The only supplier I've found in Europe is Custom Chrome Germany www.custom-chrome-europe.com/index.php?stoken=7AC278C7&lang=1&cl=search&searchparam=revtech But be absolutely sure that the part will fit before ordering, because the parts are not very cheap. A "fit" example is the series3 pistons are advertised as 10:1 where as mine are 10.5:1 as standard. Hope this helps! Regards

My new boiler installed by professionals works fine when heating turned on via Honeywell programmer. Boiler will not fire when limited to hot water only. Installer of Drayton Digistat (and new boiler)says that our very old house internal walls limit the signal from the hot water tank upstairs to our boiler room downstairs.. How do I perform a manual override so that Digistat does its job when we don't want any heating?

Stumbled across your video in search of looking for a way to remove the ball in a 3/8" extension. The spring behind mine failed. Figured to leave a note on how I removed it. With a hammer, and hard strikes to the opposite side of where the ball is inserted. It slowly kept working it's way out. I now have the parts soaking in vinegar to help get everything clean. Hope this info will be of help to someone else that is looking for a way of removal.
