I think @derricktung958 was right and it's a part from cerebro. I looked it up and it looks like it but I don't know what cyclops got anything to do with it from all the characters :D

Great tutorial as always! Feels like you're trying to get more serious? What happened to the granny jokes? I believe the metal piece on the base is Cerebro... The X on the front makes it look like it could be.

Holy moly... this was amazing. Chrome is an exceptionally satisfying process to watch. Everytime he added a layer, I thought the video was wrapping up as i believed it was good and completed, only to be improved upon even more. I bet handing this to someone and telling them to really have a close look yields a funny reaction

I have to ask: how do you freaking so those microscopic details??? Do you work with a magnifying glass? I don’t know if i just have poor eyesight but when it comes to the eyes or the shading of the face i can barely see where to poke the brush tip 😮😮😮 Solid breathtaking!!! And much cat love your way ❤
@laborc892916 күн бұрын
Yep, I use a magnifying lamp all the time.

@@laborc8929 mind sharing what you use? Im trying to figure out how to do this and be hand free ahaha! Im so glad you said this makes me feel less crazy
Papa laborc. The key is to get the gf before you get into mini painting… now she’s my wife but paint less 😅

Beautiful work! I was surprised to see Kantor blue used for the shadow tone, given how saturated it. I would have expected more of like a Payne's Grey, but it's a great result
@laborc892916 күн бұрын
Since the value difference between kantor blue and white gray is so high, it's just adds a faint hue to the shadow tones if you use it as a glaze.

I'm honestly scared to use an airbrush. They seem so fiddly and so easy to break or mess up. It's a lot of money to invest in something so fragile. You have any airbrush advice?
@laborc89292 ай бұрын
Yep, buy a cheap one (25$) and make sure your store has spare parts for sale so if anything breaks (nozzle, needle got bent) you can replace it and it would only cost a few dollars. Watch the harder & steenback youtube channel to learn how to clean it and use it properly. The only part you cant really cheap out is the compressor but the good part about it, you cant really break it.

Nice job. Is this from Marvel Zombies? I have yet to paint my copy. Great game though. I need to get X-Men Resistance and the other expansions. I have Crisis Protocol to paint as well. Plus I have 300 Marvel STL’s to print too that are the same size as both games.

Do you need to wash the minis before priming?
@laborc89293 ай бұрын
No need for it, since they have a wash over them if you start scrubbing them with a toothbrush it's probably going to scrape off some of the wash and makes their surface uneven.
