It's number #2100 if I remember correctly! With some alterations; neckline insert, lower waistline and u-shaped back.😊

This is such incredible work! You inspired me to sew the kitri-like dress for my friends wedding, but in blush pink, so it does not too spanish-obvious. Could you please advise what rigidity tulle you used& is it soft, medium or hard or do you mix different kinds of tulle?

Hello! Thank you for the kind comment! I am so happy to hear that! I used medium stiff italian tulle for the under layer. We have that tulle for sale here: tutustudioborealis.com/product/italian-ballet-net-medium/ For the tiers I used softer polyester tulle. 😊

I’ve been making tutus for 15 years & now I question my skills! It takes me forever to make a tutu. Maybe I’m adding too many unnecessary steps!

Hi, thank you for the kind comment 🩷 This video is lacking dozents of steps! In tutu making, I don’t think there can be unnecessary steps, it is truly a very long process and I believe that it’s better to spend a lot of time with it for the best outcome. This one took me a full working week!

It’s beautiful, as are all your tutus. It takes me 2 weeks to make one, but I hope to get it down to 1 week someday! I can already see one thing I might try… I cut my panty ruffles very narrow, gather them, then stitch onto the panty. I love how you just gather the tulle as you sew them on & then trim the ruffle narrow. Genius!

I can imagine that it can take two weeks! There are so many different ways to make tutus. For this one I used modern techniques building on a stretch base. The traditional tutu construction takes much longer for sure. I am happy to hear that you found something useful. 😊

I have to ask, how did you get that structure for the ballet skirt? Since I've been wanting to do something similar but it's a box pleated skirt instead. Beautiful ballet outfit!
