I moved with my wife and family from South Africa to the USA in 1998, and I've been living in Florida for the past 25 years. Now, for a lot of good reasons, I'm ready to move out. I have always had a feeling that the north eastern USA, and especially Maine and Massachusetts, was where we should have moved to from the start. The culture is more compatible with my British heritage, and the sense of permanence, class, dedication to and taking pride in quality work, respect for one another and our natural world, and people who one can have a fun conversation with, even about potentially sensitive topics, without anyone getting 'bent out of shape', are just some of the reasons why. That, and the fact that I will soon be on the lookout for a cruising sailboat to buy, and I want to be where wooden sailboats are still cherished. Yes, I know, wooden boats. But what can one do, when one enjoys working with one's hands, and is in love with the idea of restoring a classic old Lady of the Seas? Why am I telling you all of this, after watching your company employment video? Because to me, all the values that I just mentioned above, are perfectly reflected in your video, and clearly, in your company. What a great presentation you put together here. If I was a younger man with some years still to 'spare', I would be taking a serious look at submitting my application. But I'd best be sticking to my Game Plan, unfortunately. Well done Back Cove Yachts, you nailed it. 👍🏻👏🏻

All you need to do to make this perfect is make that front cabin's bed something that and scissors out for 2 single births. if i owned this boat, and i was going out with 2 single buddies, this gives me the option to take the guest cabin as my own, and give then the larger cabin with the bed divided up.

Where could we find a previously owed (2000-2012) 37-45" diesel Back Cove boat? Also what do the prices look like? A gentleman at our marina suggested we have a look at these boats as he feels many of your models are perfectly suited for what we have been looking for. We would like a well built/sturdy vessel that can handle conditions as harsh as the Bay of of Fundy, has large enough fuel takes so we are able to make it thru areas with sparse fueling stations when traveling from Eastern Canada down thru the ICW or to the Key's. We also enjoy fishing, so a boat which has the capacity & comfort to fish from as well as a vessel with easy access to the engines. We are able to 90% of our work remotely and therefore we need a boat equipped with wifi. Its our plan to live aboard our boat for the majority of the year so we would want a nice size master stateroom with a comfy bed (preferably queen or larger), ample storage, 2 heads, full size fridge, stovetop, microwave or convection oven, washer/dryer conbo, an aft-cabin or convertible furnishings which affords a place for guest to sleep. We understand this is a big wish list. If you have any suggestions or information on other boats we should look at, I'd greatly appreciated any help your able to offer.

Great boats. Lots to like about them but I’ll never get this aft cockpit layout which is the same as the Sabre 45. It’s not an efficient use of space, IMO. No where to lay down and read a book outside and I don’t need two transom doors. I much prefer the L shaped settees on the new Sabre 43 and Back Cove 340. Guessing I’m not alone based on that change/update to the S43.

What a bad azz boat. A couple things does the topside table convert to a berth. Second the downstairs seating area seems pointless in hotter climates. Everything else is superb. I would have a freshwater maker and outboard bracket by the generator for an inflatable or place on top to lash one down.

Thirded. Having two separate lunges on a boat this size seems a waste ESPECIALLY since it appears neither will berth guests. Disappointing. Great otherwise though, and I appreciate less built-in seating in the cockpit unlike their other boats. More configurable.

After just coming back from a week on a different boat, I appreciate the lower seating area. When you're in a port on a slip and want to have a cup of tea/glass of wine in your jammies, it's nice relaxing and not having to worry about people walking by and seeing you. We had to pull the shades down each evening and it felt a little claustrophobic to me (it was 45' loa).
