Some great tracks for sure, the last one especially! If you haven't already, I suggest you check out the bridleway that goes around the side of Easdon Tor, there's a great descent through the woods 👍

Looks like a lot of fun up on the Lakes think I’d prefer it in the warm summer months though it was look pretty bleak up on the top of that trail 🤙🏻

Nice video dude💪 I’ve rode about 60% of what you’ve shown I think I can work out where a few others are now😊

Wheres the one at 12:01 start?

It's at the top of the last decent on the red trail. You've got the long left hand berm, cross the fire road then a dip in the trail, instead of following the trail turn right. It's a walking/bridle path.

Cannonteign, theres somewhere i haven't been for a while 'rock track' as you call it is particularly gnarly compared to others, isnt it
@mikewelshmtb25564 ай бұрын
Hi Ian. Alot has changed recently as they've been felling. Rock track is probably the techiest line on that side. If you head over to the other side of the woods "steepside" that's where it gets a bit gnarly
@ianrussell694 ай бұрын
Yes you mean where the big drops are and you're dropping down towards the stream?

Nice, Ants in your pants, where abouts is that, I swear I've seen it on trailforks or something

Where’s the start of that first trail mate
@mikewelshmtb25565 ай бұрын
Out of the visitor centre as if you were going on the blue trail but turn right on the main fire road/staff road. Head down the hill a couple hundred yards and on your left. If you explore in that area you'll find quite a few off piste trails
@smv93386 ай бұрын
Nice. I think that the second trail you rode is the hardest off-piste one at Haldon. It's that chute with the tight right hand turn at the bottom. Took me a while to do that clean.
@mikewelshmtb25566 ай бұрын
Still pretty boggy in there. Always take the wrong line 😂. Need to stay left 🙄

That section from Water down to Clam Bridge is always wet, & that was particularly moist!

The super steep part of Slate Track that you did a couple of times is my favourite track there.

That is a great trail. Going to head to Spanishside next time. Looking forward to dry days so can actually get a bit of pace up again
@smv93387 ай бұрын
Nice. How savage is the chute onto the fire road on the penultimate track?
@mikewelshmtb25567 ай бұрын
You wouldn't think so but it's super steep😂 it's a great trail.

Nice one dude - that drop onto the roots is scary - I've not been brave enough to try that one yet.

I've not managed a dab free run on that one yet!

Nice one! Yes I've ridden that trail but not the first or last features - you made it look easy! Great riding. Go Pro doesn't do it justice. I didn't realise that you could swerve that first rock roll & still do the smaller of the two drops on the first feature. That last drop off of the off-camber rock slab, did you just push off or lift the front wheel?

Nice one buddy - takes some courage to do those, especially in the wet!
