Actually that's outdated. 1 inch per tooth = 12.5ft, so a 6 inch tooth gets 75ft long.

The story is true, just Google it 😂. My GoPro footage turned out bad from this dive so I was trying to improve it with graphics. But I have to pay for it, and there’s a very limited selection. If you know of a place where I can license accurate WW2 submarine graphics let me know!

Dinosaur scales would statistically have the greatest possibility of being found millions of years later then one sharks teeth. Scales are made up of the same materials and have similer strength for survival into a fossile. My spidy senses tell me the megladon is being hyped and primed to be the bigfoot of the water. There were other large predatory fish, where are their teeth. Why arnt people finding trex teeth just laying around on the surface, while anything else from a million years ago is buried 20 ft. Scary how we choose to focus on one alleged fact and ignore thousands others.

I'm from Louisiana....we dove Morrison and Defuniak Springs regularly in the mid 70's. Water was always cold and there was a strong current against you as you dove into the cavern. Additionally, there was a big ol sign, like a billboard at the waters edge stating ' X divers have lost their life here, dive at your own risk'...To me, Defuniak was more dangerous, b/c they had air pockets within that tunnel leading downward - you'd go into those pockets and had to be careful descending since you could become disoriented and get hyperthermia - Finally, we also dove Crystal springs o/s Clearwater, diving w/ the manatees....we'd often see them and a distinguishable feature was their torn up pelt/skin - allegedly from blades from outboard motors - they're a gentle giant, silent and beautiful - hope they're still around - it's been 50+yrs since I dove ~

So, I grew up literally 3 minutes away. The Springs' cavern used to be roughly hourglass-shaped and they dynamited the bottom "bowl" area closed due to several deaths that occurred. Before they did that though, they sent in a few more expeditions and they found the lower jawbone of a mammoth that is currently in a local museum in DeFuniak Springs, about 20 minutes away.
