Give it up on DTR as a starting QB in the NFL…he’s to tiny, very fragile. Maybe there’s a place on the team as some sort of specialized player. But he’s not the future quarterback. Let it go. The next question shouldn’t be who will be the next franchise quarterback …the question is, when will the Browns develop a front line that can provide a little more protection for the quarterback. Without a front line we may as well get a quarterback who can take a beating, or put in a run and shoot offense with a scrambling QB . The players and coaches have already quit. On Baker - Baker needed to be traded so he could mature as a player . And I give home credit…he did just that . He didn’t quit. When he was in Cleveland he was not the same QB. To say the Browns are better off losing games now …is missing the point that winning breeds winners. Learning to win is what these players and coaches need to focus on. This team needs to grow up. On all levels.

This season is over and Jameis ain't saving it so why not go out and try to catch lightning in a bottle with some failed high draft pick? Maybe go get Zach Wilson from Denver and see if Sean Payton has fixed him at all because the potential ceiling with him is virtually limitless and what do you have to lose? At this point you might as well swing for the fences and Zach is about as boom or bust a guy you could go get. If he bombs then you get a high draft pick and reset but if he hits then there's potential to have a long starter in place. Another wildcard that would be worth considering would be to call up Chicago and ask what it would take to get Tyson Bagent. I know he's still raw and undrafted, and D-2, and all that but he has shown some ability to run an offense despite making a ridiculous jump in competition from D-2 to NFL and looked great in preseason. I just have a good feeling about him that if he ever gets his chance to truly be the guy at QB for a team he will never let that spot go.
