I dont understand why people say elgato mk 2 look good …to me looks like missing depth, the black are lifted grays if compared to the sony the black are complete opposite mk 2 looks the worst for black (lifted black helps with shadow detail i think) Well i dont know maybe his wearing a gray shirt

Facecam pro has better a focus so you can dial it to get really clear. It’s the better webcam but costs more. (Facecam pro) Facecam mk2 really performs well and I used it I different areas since my review and it looks great. So it comes down what’s your budget. Me personally I would buy facecam mk2 and upgrade other gear in my setup.

Would you recommend downgrading the resolution to 1080 60 for obs studio/twitch or keeping it at 4k 60?

One big advantages of having it in 4K 60 fps if you do any zoom ins it will look a lot cleaner. I used it in 1080p 60 fps in obs and it work fine.I haven’t tested it with elgato virtual camera. So you’re using it 4k 60fps I would recommend trying out elgato virtual camera for the device source in obs. My laptop couldn’t handle it in 4K being older one so I had to use it in 1080 60 fps.

Great video as always. The Neo products looks like a good budget option for a streaming setup, Especially for those who want to start streaming or making content. Appreciate that you go through each products in full detail and if it should be recommended depending on what you already have in your setup. Great review. It's so interesting to me since when I did my side my side with my OG Facecam, it's just brighter and better(color accurate)than the Mk2 for me. I decided on keeping the original Facecam.

I had to go from dynamic range high and back to standard to get my image like this. The original Facecam is still a great product. I still use my for a different angle shot. Anyways thanks for watching!
