I'm with you. Like it's a college/ high school football game. You have a band there for a reason; use them. Plus the singer's mikes are always garbage.

Fantastic arrangement and playing by the band! 10/10 Horrible drum arrangement, just dreadful. Worst ever for a SSB. I don't blame the musicians, they are playing what they were told to play. Cut out all the pounding in the middle and the intro and last four measures will be fine.

Believe it or not, the drum arrangement is close to the original version this is based on.

@@stlasmith I believe it. That's why most marching arrangers get a percussion guy to do the percussion arrangements. :)

@@stlasmith I’m a band kid and I was at that competition. They start early because of the time limit, not because of heat. At UIL competitions like region and area you have 8 minutes to perform, and if you go over that time limit you get an automatic point reduction. So bands like Keller have to start before the timer starts going, and usually before the announcer starts talking. It’s not because of the heat, it’s because of the short time frame they get to perform 👍
