I’m trying to decide between a quartz or an oil filled radiator style, which would you suggest?
@aarone90007 ай бұрын
Why in the L; don't you build an oil radiator style heater that has as its heat source induction technology????? BTW that is a million dollar idea!!

I have a nice old, no longer available, DeLonghi EW750L 1500 watt heater. I got it free. They sold them in the mid 2000s as that is when I see Amazon reviews for them. It works great. Please remember the more the digital gadgetry then the more can go wrong. Stick with more basic DeLonghis if possible.

considering buying a heater for winter emergencies. How long can the propane bottle set in storage?
@survive-pro7 ай бұрын
Propane doesn’t expire. So I guess as long as the tank isn’t corroded it’s good.

Stay away from every type of heater, in the long run you better off upgrading your furnace or adding more insulation these heaters is just a waste of money…
@chrissampson75698 ай бұрын
I have a sun room that does not have the central heat and air connected to it. I think it would cost more to have that done than to just get a decent heater that can warm that room.
@joewatson32618 ай бұрын
@@chrissampson7569 What’s a decent heater, it’s all based on watts not looks, all I can say is stay the hell away from any heaters that’s 1500 watts or more and the one you pic don’t run it 24/7 or your going to get shocking bills like I did.

All are too small....only about 150 watts. Plug them into the cigarette lighter outlet & they'll blow the fuse immediately.

I want one so bad for my apartment. But I read something about these needing a dedicated breaker. Do I just plug it in a outlet that nothing else is plugged into? Not knowledgeable on this.
@HomerVista9 ай бұрын
It depends... it will draw a lot of current on it's own on high, so you can't run a microwave or toaster over at the same time on the same circuit. On low, you should be ok. Test things so you know what works and what doesn't. NEVER use it with a cheap extension cord or power strip!
@Beardalorian9 ай бұрын
@@HomerVistaI ended up ordering the 500 watt Amazon one. It's perfect for personal use and won't flip the breaker.

You can get an adaptor hose so you can run these heaters from a large propane tank
@greenyonline9 ай бұрын
But you can’t have the large tanks inside.

These are all space heaters and not for large room. So I've been taught. 1500 Watt is the best irregardless of price n all the b.s.

The Amazon Basics heater stands out due to its lightweight design, making it easy to handle. The strategically placed handle and control panel cater to users with back pain. The only downside is the confusing on/off light indicator.

I don't like the Little Buddy for the reason of it pointing upward. With it set at a 45 degree angle, it's missing warming alot of floor area. Heat rises, and you're going to have cold lower legs and feet especially.

That heater isn't designed to heat a room. It's a personal space heater best used in the immediate area around you. You're expecting it to do something it is not designed to do. If you want to review or test a tent or topper camper, use one designed for heating tents and toppers.

@randardoin1161 Жыл бұрын
So all I got from this advertisement is all the heaters consume a great deal of electrical energy, but there is no mention of their thermal efficiency. How much much of the 1500 watts is converted to actual heat? Also, the Dr Infrared Heater DRDR968 is misleading. It's not an infrared heater. It just has an IR remote control.
