Olá! Preciso ler o Familia Romana na pronúncia reconstituida ou na eclesiástica funciona tão bem quanto? Tô começando a estudar agora.

A escolha da pronúncia cabe a você, mas acho estranho ler Familia Romana utilizando a eclesiástica já que todo o livro foi pensado para ser lido utilizando a reconstituída, mas tudo é questão de gosto. Se prefere a eclesiástica mande bala.

@@Rodrigo-f9f Como nosso amigo disse, é uma escolha sua. Alguns alunos meus usam a eclesiástica, outros, a clássica. Escolha uma e use apenas ela. Não é bom misturá-las. Quando seu latim estiver melhor e você já estiver perfeitamente à vontade com uma delas, então, sim, caso queira, você poderá praticar a outra. Num certo momento você vai estar à vontade nas duas. É o meu caso, mas não foi sempre assim. No começo de meus estudos, eu usava apenas a eclesiástica.

Acredito que a a pronúncia correta é ábiit (proparoxítona). Você tem algum grupo de estudos de Latim ?

@@jenisson159 "Ábiit" é a mais usada (e é a que eu uso hoje em dia). Mas há gramáticos que defendem que a vogal "i" de "abívit" (onde ela é longa) continua longa mesmo quando feita a síncope "abiit" e por essa razão conserva o acento. E não, não possuo grupos; apenas dou aulas particulares. Talvez algum dia eu crie um no Whatsapp ou no Telegram, mas não é um projeto para agora.

@@lectionesantiquae3090 Entendi, não sabia que abÍit também é uma pronúncia válida. Estou voltando a ler em Latim e seria bom trocar ideias com outras pessoas. Estou lendo as Metamorphoses. Acredito que depois vou ler a Aeneis ou a Thebais e a Silvae.
