None. Each camera requires their own IP address to work within a computer network. This is true for any device that is connected to a local computer network.

We're not sure if any FTP servers have a way to do it automatically. Typically, you would have to write a "cronjob"-type script to manage files on your FTP server.

We recommend using PoE. However, most of our IP cameras do have the ability to be powered by a 12V DC power adapter connected to a power outlet.

DVRs cannot access the OSD menu without a UTC controller when the camera is in CVBS (Composite Video Broadcasting System) mode, an outdated signal type that lacks digital communication. However, it's worth noting that this 4-in-1 controller only works with specific cameras on our website.

It depends on the camera. Some cameras have the ability to store video on an internal SD card. However, we have found that internal SD cards can sometimes cause frame skipping or laggy video when playing video back from the SD card.

There are a lot of variables that would determine if you need a PoE switch. While most NVRs have a built-in PoE switch there are several situations where a switch would be useful. Here are a few examples: 1. Your NVR's built-in PoE switch is not powerful enough if you intend to use multiple large power-hungry PTZ cameras. 2. You have the need to run a camera over the 328 feet limit of Ethernet cabling. 3. You want to deploy your IP security camera system over your local network rather than using your NVR's internal network.
