I held my nose and bought a grub stake in a leveraged 3xS&P500 ETF with a stop at SPY 5% drop.

If you look at the ASX 200 chart over a 60 year period. Draw a line across the highs over that period. The ASX hit the top of the line 3 weeks ago. I can’t see it getting higher. Could be wrong.

2 weeks of sell off in the Canadian market. With our PM Trudeau well past his expiry date, the resignation of our finance minister, and Trump with his tariff threats, I'm surprised it isn't worse. Good day on Friday on the North American markets, hopefully that's a good sign.

I'm not concerned about my ASX stocks as they are mostly decent dividend payers with moats, in for the very long haul. I am concerned about the US market though. It is definitely showing broad weakness under the top line numbers - outside of the Mag7 and memestocks, the other sectors like industrials and consumer staples have been tanking in the last few weeks. At the moment it's just a standard pullback but if it accelerates and they start going below the 100-day MA in the coming weeks, it may be time to bail on the US. I'm increasingly uncomfortable with being in on this tech/AI/crypto bubble while actual real company stocks are performing poorly
