yes, we can do the merging of two columns into one, please check the option in Data model, right click on the column you want to merge and select "new calculated column" and then apply the formula of concatenation - CONCATENATE(Column1, " ", Column2) hope this helps!

@AtulKadlag But on SAP note they have mentioned data can be altered only for import based model for models based on live connection we don't have scope to modify or alter anything as all coming from source .. Even I guess for live model I didn't find this option for import model yes there is option for transformation.. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

first of all, it is good that you are trying to learn new things. I would suggest, once you are released from the current project, try to find the project in tableau or power BI in your current organization, if not, look outside for the power BI developer/tableau developer roles, you have to prepare yourself as 2 year as a BO developer and 2 year as PowerBI/tableau role experience..... this way you will get change quickly... otherwise, if you go for SAC learning, it will again take time and not sure you will get a role to work immediately.. so would suggest, look outside for BI developer role (Skills can include, Power BI,tableu or SAP BO, along with SQL)... prepare your SQL strongly as well... hope this helps!

Probably I do not think it exists in the tool... only thing is something find & replace all may be we can tryout but that's not the solution...

as per my understanding both are powerful tool, they serve different purpose and we can not compare both, because UI5 is for user-experience for SAP application, and SAC for analytics, reporting and planning..so they serve different purpose.. regarding the demand I would think have same demand, if you have expertise in that particular skills. in SAC side, if you get planning skill, it would be good for your career growth.. hope this helps!

as per my knowledge SAC has moderate demand but that will grow gradually in coming years.... in SAC- planning module has more demand so suggest to learn it, and yes certification might help to get you interview calls..

yes, this can be done with data blending. add the two models in the data source one by one .. Once you add the models perform following steps. 1) Once you have added both models to your story, you can start blending the data. 2) Go to the story page and create a new table or chart. 3) Select the primary model for the table or chart. 4) Then, click on the “Blend Data” icon (usually represented by a link or chain symbol). 5) Select the secondary model you want to blend with the primary model. 6) Create a Link: You will need to create a link between the two models. This is done by selecting a common dimension or measure that exists in both models. Define the relationship (e.g., Inner Join, Left Join) based on your requirement. 7) Configure Blend Options: You can configure various blend options such as aggregation types, link type, and others to ensure the data is combined correctly. 8) Use Blended Data: After creating the link, you can now use the blended data in your story. You can drag and drop measures and dimensions from both models into your table or chart. Hope this helps
