Buyer beware they are trash. Backrest digs into your back, but more importantly today mine crumpled up with me in it. The ladder support failed, which made the ladder fold in half. Super thin steel. Buy a good harness if you dare try it. Glad mine was on.

I received mine for my 1911. It took six weeks to arrive, so don’t be in a hurry. It is custom made for each order, including magazine pouch. I had it adjusted to fit within 15 minutes and fine tuned one strap after wearing for 30 minutes. Very comfortable, a little pressure on my trapezoids, but i have become used to it. Very little break in to accommodate the pistol. In fact, i kinda like the snug hold on the weapon even when unstrapped and rotated forward. It feels very secure when riding my HD. High quality materials. One point should be made, retrieving a mag from the pouch is not fast, even with practice. So there is a trade off there.

How can you name a trail after you have already tracked it? I mapped a small local park one day real quick now I would like to go back and name some of the trails. Is that possible without making a waypoint?

Got one in for my 1911 in the Fall of 2023. I really wanted to like this holster but can not. I'm 6' tall and a fit 170 pounds and this holster just doesn't fit me. I had wanted a shoulder holster that could give me a vertical carry at my side but this carries just above a cross-draw holster - which can be had for a lot less money. I've shortened the adjustments as far as they will go and the holster still hangs loose and at my waist, and the straps want to slide off my shoulders. It seems like the mfr sized these for larger bodies. As other reviewers have noted, the rear mag is hard to get at. I also just discovered a REAL problem with this holster. The "securing" snap on the holster does NOTHING to secure the pistol. My 1911 easily slides in and out of the holster, regardless if the strap is snapped or not. So... this holster is a big fail if you want your 1911 pistol to be secured.

Ok I realize that I'm 2 years late for this party, however, this info is much appreciated. I recently purchased the TX22 compact. I want it to run flawlessly when my wife first tries it so she will really enjoy shooting. Thanks, Bro!

@@davidt4102 i got the P17 ... 1st time it was garbage, stove pipes left and right thru all 3 mags even after filling the same 3 mags a 2nd time, stove pipes every 2-3 shots. Came back 2 weeks later and all 3 mags fired perfect. Came back 2 weels later again, every other mag was perfect while the other mags had 1-2 stove pipes per mag ... This P17 is def not consistent, one mag is flawless, next one stove pipes, next mag perfect, next one stove pipes ...

It would be good to run a cable across the bridge and anchor each slab to it so it can’t wash away. And maybe drill in a couple of iron rods or pipes on the downstream side. Or some concrete to keep floods from pushing it down stream.

I adjusted mine so the holster rests against my rib cage just above my 'love handle' and below my armpit. It tucks away nicely that way and even if my wife knows I'm carrying, she can't see anything printing. Also, use a little Loctite or Permatex equivalent on the Chicago nuts, they want to back out in use. Getting it to fit my Walther, I applied Everclear on the leather, wrapped my pistol with three plastic grocery bags and stuck it in there. After it dried, the fit was perfect! Nice holster. and he is not exaggerating about the quality or their customer service.....
