Atlanta native here, I haven't been to this mall since I was a little girl, 35 now. This was so nostalgic.

Me and my family hardly if at all visited this mall because unfortunately not everyone in Atlanta is friendly, so sadly crime has hurt this place, so therefore Macy’s and the original Chick-fil-A are gone simply due to that, but it’s interesting after 60 years this place is doing fair I’m sad to say it will probably outlast Town Center at Cobb and Arbor Place but probably will go before Cumberland! 😳

I’ll tell you this this Publix in Buckhead is OK but Publix can’t touch Wegmans. I lived in Buffalo for a year on a contract. Wegmans has fresh subs, Woodfire pizza fresh sushi meats, seafood fresh bread bagels everything is fresh they even cut the fruit up. I used to go in Wegmans at 6 o’clock in the morning and I could see them cutting up the fruit fresh to make the bowls for today, so Publix this public is good, but it doesn’t level up to what Wegmans offer because the buffet in Wegmans is the size of Golden corral they have Chinese wing Fridays with about eight different types of wings, fried fish, American food, fresh soups, fresh pasta I’m telling you if you ever go up north or the closest Wegmans I believe is in Cary and Raleigh I was waiting for them to come to Charlotte. It’ll be one in Charlotte either this year or next year. But I feel like Publix is trying to compete with Harris Teeter because Harris Teeter was the first with a bar where you can come in there and watch the football game while shopping get breakfast. I know on the weekends they serve breakfast a fresh omelette station besides the fresh pizza and everything else but Publix is trying to compete withHarris Teeter because Wegmans is still number one grocery store in America

Once again also used to shop here, unfortunately the crime in general has really hurt this mall very badly, that’s the main reason I quit going there, but yes times have changed no doubt sir! 👍🏻

Well I used to shop at this mall as well with my family when I used to live in Paulding County, now I live in Panama City, Florida, but you know this mall had shut down because of the electric bill wasn’t paid it reopened the day after it closed and Belk is closing down this February 18th! 😳

Thanks for the video! I haven't gotten down to Savannah in about a year so I've been wondering how Oglethorpe has been doing (from an in-person perspective). I saw a glimpse of the apartments they're building on the Sears site and it looks like they're really coming along! I wish you had gone outside and filmed that also, but great vid nonetheless. It looks kinda weird seeing the people so scarce in Oglethorpe Mall like that. I'm used to it being packed, almost shoulder to shoulder, especially a few days before Christmas!!!! Malls, even the alive ones like Oglethorpe, definitely do seem to be slowing dying out unfortunately. 😢

Atlanta down near Oglethorpe Universit used to have a Harris Teeter store that had all of that. That Harris Teeter had the best caesar salads.

The Publix in Tampa also has a Pours Cafe. It has its own entrance with a nice seating area outside. Also has a mezzanine dining area upstairs. Good video.

Noooo, Do not go down to the bottom of the tank. A mechanic once told me that dirt and sediment can accumulate and cause problems. Sometimes we all accidentally run low on gas but don’t make it a habit. We all need to be good stewards of our possession and that includes our cars.

I went once to Lidl and I couldn't find any organic products. None of the seafood was wild caught. No grass fed beef. The yogurt was all low fat variety[s. Not a fan. I keep away from all the processed foods, seeds oils, dyes, artificial and natural flavors, dyes, enriched flour, Artificial sweeteners. None of that stuff is good for you. Lots of it is inflammatory to the body.
