You have missed so much value pre flop in most your hands. U a very tight passive player. 1 hand come to mind A7s in bb vs btn open shove don't like that call vs weak players.

AAlday got burned for just flatting pre with AA; then not leading with them on the flop. The "random" number generator was having NONE of that.

you can't expect to make the same moves such as trapping in an online verse live tournament. always just bet. even if you're just trying to get to showdown with a marginal made hand. just bet it.

4:01 there is an ante in play and hero folded an ace!!! Huge leak in tons of micro stakes players is not defending enough, especially with an ante. I'd defend hands as weak as 75o 43o.
@TonyEnglandUK Жыл бұрын
Umm, he didn't fold the Ace, he quite clearly said he'd flat-call, which is the correct play. You might want to watch again.

You seem to be playing much wider ranges than from what I remember is recommended in your book.

Hey Jamie Kerstetter, I was looking for my channel ran across your multiple videos. I once enjoyed playing Texas holdem and would always win in the online arena with fake money and tried it for real at a dog track a few times only breaking even but decided that it was not the way I wanted to make money. Kerstetter is powerfule name! lol. have a good day....Dr. Paul Kerstetter.

I think that using nash to assign ranges to opponents is very bad practice, especialy in low buyin games. What makes people bad at those levels is that call way too much. At 15:00 for example, people will call a lot looser than 3,5% hands. Another thing is that people usually don't push that loose in those tournaments, so 23% pushing range of cutoff is also incorrect in my opinion. (again at 15:00). I think it's close to impossible to learn how to beat micro/low stakes with Icmizer using automatic hand ranges, imho ranges have to be adjusted manually.
@ClarkPotter3 жыл бұрын
Great comment. At least ICM minimizes mistakes when you don't take into account that information. Ideally you have that and could have a parameter for each player on an attribute or two, like a scale of 1-5 of how to adjust their shoving range so you can incorporate it.
