@Buginmeout As said, I don't have problem being stood corrected as I submitted that comment based on the information that is available. You are probably right. Either way the male funnel web spider is the most dangerous arachnid on planet earth.

You mentioned Bateman's Bay (NSW South Coast near Nowra). It stills looks identical to the Sydney funnel web, just as agressive, and probably just as venomous. Have you got anti venin close to hand, or available at a phone call ? Back in 1982 there used to be a huge billboard of a funnel web at Woolongong railway station, courtesy of Flick pest control. It was there for a reason.

What are you using for your Sub straight ? A fine artists paint brush to move your spiders would go well or to move any other creature that you have .Centipedes are not my thing nor the funnel webs . I am More of a T person . even though i don't have any as yet .One day i will . Still learning about T's and watching some experienced spider keepers from over seas . I hope all goes well with your new spiders and centipedes .

Try and use a long handled artists paint brush to move your spiders . I would also suggest that you watch past video's of Daves Little Beasties on how to handle spiders . Dave is in the UK , but he has been a collector of Tarantulas and other spiders over the last 40 + years . Also Tarantula Collective past video's . Richard has a massive collection of T's .He is in the US . Both these guys have so much information on keeping spiders .New World and Old world spiders . For got to mention ,both also keep Scorpions ,frogs ,centerpeides etc ,so not just spiders .
