I think the funniest part about this to me is that Waller is usually so calm and reserved, so for her to start losing her mind because of the squad disobeying her and her getting knocked out was too hilarious for me

This scene is why I love this movie so much. I have always been a shy and insecure person, who always let others make decisions for him. Seeing at the cinema the team that, even faced with the awareness of facing death, still decides not to listen to Waller anymore and to go and face another mortal danger (not because they were ordered to, not because it is their mission, but because they want to do it, because - as Harley implicitly says - they need a purpose) it was cathartic like few things in the world.

This move by Amanda never made sense to me. They completed their mission and are expendable. Give them an option for salvation at a moral high price. She knows they wont take it. She was always a cold ruthless pragmatist, not a tyrant. Manipulation fits her MO. Wanting them alive? No.

If that were the case then they would have made her the person who was kidnapped in the Operate Starforce crossover but that didn't happen which is why Prez will never get together with him.
