I’m convinced they never sang this live. Every version sounds exactly the same.

Lip synched like all the rest. Too bad but they were definitely a studio only band.

Smile.

They are definitely live under the track. Well in bits. I don't think she knew the mic was on. Only for the first few seconds. There's the odd add lib and they deliberately dodge the mic most of it.

Great song but is this a Millie Vanilli performance every time? There's no true live performance I've seen on youtube rather lipsych on every one of them. UPDATE: The only live performance of this song I've been able to find!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKKle5adoZmCm80
@str.773 жыл бұрын
It's not a Milli Vanilli performance as the Other Ones at least sang it on the recording and certainly did a lot of live performances back in the day. But lipsynching was the norm on TV back then.

@str.773 жыл бұрын

I always wondered why I never seen ''The other ones'' Live ? I'm pretty sure that the spectators would've been on their feet the whole concert. They had ''je ne sais quoi'' about their presence.

I know, bit late of an answer, but still (pun intended), she made several songs with Tony Banks of Genesis, check out the albums Bankstatement and Still, especially the songs Queen of Darkness and That Night.

Surprised as hell to see a new music video with Jayney. What a gorgeous voice. Discovered Holiday back in '88. Wore out the vinyl then bought the CD. Then I bought Learning to Walk. Then nothing for 20 years. I felt a bit miffed that this Aussie singer with the gorgeous voice had left Australia to make a life overseas and I could not her her performances. Then came KZbin. Hurrah. I could download video to go with the music. The way she sings in It Makes Me Higher sounds awesome. Her voice when low and quiet is just gorgeous. When is she coming out to Australia? Bring Nick Hohepa. It would be a treat to see her live. Thanks to youprettything for putting up the video.

@NeroRedgrave - I was more commenting on the fact that they're lip syncing the song. The video is not 1987, I know what 1987 looks like, and I know what the studio recording of this song sounds like.

@str.773 жыл бұрын

Unfortunately I think there's no Zebra in here... the production was done on an old Pro Tools rig on MacOS 9... they have switched to native processing since, and now Zebra is everywhere 8-)
@reinholdheil17 жыл бұрын
Excellent! I'm assuming that Zebra and MFM were used for this. But that aside, the song should be a hit. Let's make it one.
