how do you find that tractor hedgecutting iv an 8560 and thinking of changing was worried the back piller would block the head of the hedgecutter iv a pa60 mcconnel

During the hedgecutting ban between the first of March and the end of August you’re still entitled to cut roadside grass verges and even cut long grass only with hedge cutters instead of the hedges or tree’s themselves. Nothing ever nests in grass.

Ya I’m aware of that, did I mention something in video that says otherwise ? Regardless of that regulation I’d never put hedger in anytime outside of the ban as you’d never have enough work that time of year anyway

We find it a great machine anyway, only 4 seasons done so far so obviously time will tell for how long it stays a great machine 😂

Andrew lacey is a sound man to deal with isn't he. Was there much of a price difference between that and a McConnell at the time can you remember?

@@Carlowman88ya massive at the time don’t no off my head but was couple thousands in it, McConnell have some what a better name but both machines do same job in my eyes. Andrew is a1 we got baler off him too

@@pak6103 ya been there done that myself, just make sure u have all things checked over on the paperwork side of things and there’s no spelling mistakes as u have to get through airports first.. other than that side of things it’s just like being at home and you’ll get settled in very quickly tbh, u don’t need to take any work boots as they are strict about bringing in disease into the country and would recommend buying some outside plus it saves weight in the suitcase, don’t pack over heavy as you rlly won’t need all the clothes u think which I learned the hard way 😂 simple thing like making sure ur phone is unlocked to any network is something ppl don’t think about as you’ll need to get a newzealand SIM card.. other than that it’s just a learning curve rlly. What part u heading to

@@pak6103 depends on the person u working for, when I was there my first time I had very little time free and hardly got to sleep 4/5 hours most nights but every place is different but they all try take week off for Christmas and new years as time to do ur own thing… north island has better climate than south

@@yant8777 don’t have power command but auto command is lovely to drive but I’m sure it comes with big cost if anything goes wrong…. Range command definitely the most reliable of the options

@@eire77 well obviously that does all vary on the contractors price but on an average price I wouldn’t say it’s that bad for the farmer, the contractors price isn’t the biggest problem with the farming industry and is definitely not the biggest issue farmers have with all the other red flags making it hard for them to make money (that’s just my opinion)
