Robert! I was there at the same YFC with you. What a funny back story. Yes we stayed at the same hotel. I'm from the group Hi-Lite, we sang the last night of the conference and we worked on some music in our hotel room. Anyway, good to see you doing your thing. Maybe one day we can do a reunion.

A lot of people dont know this but Telma Hopkins did a Television show with young Janet Jackson called "A New Kind of Family" from 1979-1980 it was short lived but I truly enjoyed watching them. Its not on KZbin but you can google it and see them both pictured together . This was before Janet did Different Strokes.

Hi, I love the interview with Shirley Murdock who’s music I’ve known as a teenager. I have a secret to share with you. In this 2000anythinggoes decade, there is still beautiful newskool music to be heard. Not this nastie runchie music they got goin on over there, but real music. Terry Dexter’s House music and she sounds like Funk and Soul from the way she sangs, XL Middleton’s Funk, Bootsy Collins newer music, Ty Causey’s R and B, Tye Gunn, Teri Tobin, Damfunk, Cool Million who are a Funk/Oldskool style group who works with vocalists and create their new music. Adrian Younge who is an Analog musical genius who’s music sounds like from the 60s and 70s and he is not a coppycat, he actually creates. He’s done his own albums pluss worked with Jean Carne, Angela Munoz, The Delfonics a couple of years ago, and Lonnie Liston Smith and Roy Ayers. They don’t promote artists like this, they promote the ronchie stuff and wanna keep the good artists a secret. I wanted to share the secret with you and spread the word as much as possible. Here’s some more: Diamond Ortiz, Zackey Force Funk, Danny Bedrosian, Trizae Clinton, PTFI, Tracy Hamlin, and Helen Bruner and Terry Jones and Alex Isley who’s one of the Isley Brothers daughters and she’s great. Music can heal, people tend to forget that, and, great music still exists. Much much love.
