The father in Kratos knows not to chase a man who backs down. At that point you already have victory, so it would be cruel and barbaric to chase him. What gets me about his character is as soon as he hears his son cough raspy like, he turns to him and walks over to check on him. The adrenaline of killing a demigod faded like a candle in the wind, when it comes to his only son. Not to mention that Kratos has lost so so much (Pandora, his wife in the new games, his family in the old games.) honestly one of the best single player games created in the last 5 years.

I mean there were black "troll men" that were never seen just briefly described, it's possible that there are asians in the unknown parts of the world, but obviously we'll never hear that from tolkien so it'd never be considered canon. Most adaptions from Tolkiens work tend to be extremely non-canon (amazons lotr, shadow of mordor/war games etc).
