Why do blk men always set their victims and/or crime scene on fire? It hasn't destroyed evidence for the last 50 years but they still do it.

And when I came up in Black Bottom back in the early 1960s to the mid 1970s, I never once heard anyone say, "you know you're living in Black Bottom"...it's like Black people were ashamed to mention even the very name of it and it took decades later, before I found out that I and many others grew up in Black Bottom, but at that point I and those many others had moved away(or is it we had been moved away?) from the neighborhood. 9-28-24.

Downtown Detroit is on the rise-but not for us Black folk, only for those who can afford to live down there, and we know who those folk are, yes? Sounds like the same thing that's happening in downtown Chicago-but you better not go there to live if you're Black...and as far as I'm concerned they can have Downtown Detroit! 9-28-24.

That's all "Eminent Domain" really is-white folks feeling they had the right use power and force to steal non-whites land and property away from them--but one day the tables will turn-you and I might not live to see it but it WILL HAPPEN... 9-28-24.

The men with them that were caught in vermont were really close to where i was playing with friends. We were really young. They caught them right up the street. Scary to think there were escaped killers roaming right where i was. These were all bad guys

One thing is consistent America could care less about Black American equity, prosperity, safety, quality of life, or well being. It's all about erasing the very existence of Black American contributions, history, culture, and presence. Those who control Detroit are no different then those controlling every other American state and city.

These brothers had no problems taking innocent human beings, but when it came time for Linwood to be strapped in the chair, he cried like a baby and had to be dragged by the gaurds, such a woose, take your punishment like a man

I'm from Richmond, VA, the same city as the Briley brothers. My uncle went to school with them and was friends with Anthony, the youngest one. He used to visit the house and my grandmother said that he was very well-mannered. Who knew? I still pass by their childhood home every once in a while in the Highland Park area of the city.

Very interesting story on black bottom and paradise valley. But what about the north end in the 1950s and 60s. We owned most of the many businesses and had streets full of black owned entertainment and shopping districts up and down Oakland, Westminster, Russell and Owens. All of this was destroyed by the full force of urban renewal (aka negroe removal) A lot of people didn't know this??

Understand, that the American way is to pay for pleasure. Prostitution is the oldest profession. People will continue to pay for what pleasures them. Some have families, but they have the free will. to make their own decisions

What a shame that James and Linwood Briley had wasted their lives doing evil things, such as murder, to other people. Now they had paid the supreme penalty for their violent acts.

Did anyone see the documentary about the white female correctional officer who was having sex with death-row inmate, Linwood Briley? She was the one who helped the inmates escape. She was also the one who gave Linwood Briley the gun. In an interview, she had the audacity to brag about how fast he could get a penile erection....within seconds, she said!

That 3 brothers would turn out this psychopathic/sadistic is almost statistically impossible. There are not many examples of 3 siblings committing murder together... the Fryer brothers come to mind, but it was one incident and not serial murder with rape & the killing of kids and other age ranges + both sexes. These guys killed just for the thrill/pleasure. And it doesn't sound like they grew up in awful poverty or with abusive parents (though that's not knowable unless you lived there). Somebody needs to look into WHY. My $'s on lead poisoning or an unknown bad influence/abuser in all their lives (uncle, coach, neighbor). Not looking to shift blame; I'm just a 'why' person'.

Black Detroit is getting screwed again, 100 years later by the same "kitchen table" conversations. There needs to be a Black economic base in Detroit where ppl are One Code with each other. That will be the only Real change here.

Prostitution will never stop, it's the oldest business in the world. Impossible to stop!! Just make it legal in sanctioned areas, that will help the girls from having pimps, help the girls from getting hurt, help the guys from getting robbed etc. Many countries have made it legal and it's more safe for everyone

Years earlier when Linwood was a minor he fatally shot an elderly woman with a .22 from window of the Briley house while she was hanging her laundry. At first, he said he was trying to shoot a bird. When police asked him how he felt knowing he killed her Linwood said, Well she was old. She was about to die anyway. Linwood was sent to reform school for a year for that.

Another one of these. Don’t care how old it is. I’ll say it again as I’ve said before. I’ve never known anybody who delivers food to deliver to the wrong address. Why? It’s called making sure you have the right address to begin with!
