I had the pleasure of taking both my G1 and G Full tests at the Oakville DriveTest centre, and I had excellent experiences both times. During my G1 test, the administrative process was handled by a very friendly and polite woman. She guided me through the steps, including the vision test and helping me with the paperwork. I then sat down at the computer to take my G1 test, and after completing it, she helped me finalize the administrative tasks. Although she didn’t administer the actual driving test, her professionalism and kindness left a positive impression. For my G Full test, I had a different examiner, a very respectful woman who made the whole experience stress-free. She guided me clearly through each step, from driving in the residential area and the city to merging onto the highway. There were no parallel parking or three-point turn maneuvers, making the test straightforward. She gave simple instructions about lane changes and speed limits on the highway, which made me feel at ease. Thanks to her calm guidance, I successfully passed the test and obtained my full license.”

I wouldn't normally comment on a 1-year-old video, but I have to mention one important piece of advice. A second pair of pliers or wrench should be used to stabilize the rest of the unit. If the packing nut is stubborn and won't release easily, you run the risk of breaking a solder connection upline. That would be a disaster! Good on you for posting a nice short simple video

best solution is the path of least force and just requires you 1. make sure back hatch is unlocked (turn key to right and it will audibly click distinctly vs how it sounds when turned to the left) then 2. notice the side of the door has a latch in the closed (descended ) position 3. lift the handle with right hand and keep up, then push on the latch that is closed, it should pivot towards front of car and open up and you can let go of handle then . just make the latch up and open as possible. then you can close the door . on an older RAV4 (ours is 94) the door closes hard anyway so you may have to slam door on older cars but it will then latch (do not slam repeatedly if the latch position is closed). and stayed closed. Easy to redo any time it is in closed position while door is open. cheaper than 130$ latch mechanism but you may want to replace it when convenient.

I wish my Ridgid had your slow speed… mine only runs at 96 cuts per inch which is the same as your fast speed and basically twice as fast as the slow speed and I think it’s just too fast for a little planer….. definitely get a better quality cut with a slower feed rate
