At 7:45 when flying by otay lakes you might see skydivers falling or under canopy during the weekends. Sometime during weekdays if they are open.

The plane gets alot quieter sounding when much closer to the ground on landing than when it's at cruising altitudes. It's because engine levels are turned down at landing time to slow the plane down so it can descend. And I've heard how loud planes can sound flying overhead the airport parking lots when they're almost to the runway to touch down. That must mean that if a plane was flying that same distance overhead the parking lot but was instead having the engines at cruising altitude power, it would be so loud it would literally break our eardrums. It'd also woosh by overhead faster that way because the engines at cruising altitude power makes the plane fly over 500 mph instead of the 180 mph a plane normally flies when almost to and at touchdown on runway.

Planes are noisy at crz altitude because of the airflow and wind to the point you can’t hear the sound of the engines anymore at all. The reason why the airflow isnt as loud as you’re taking off/landing is because your plane is flying a lot slower than at crz altitude. Planes aren’t that loud when they fly overhead during landing either. I’ve got A320 sized planes flying 4000-6000 ft above me multiple times a day and not even know that they’re there with headphones. They’re a louder when passing above you during takeoff, but I wouldn’t say its deafening, just a longer and louder whoosh, even if you live in an area where planes fly below a thousand feet above you. Look at some planespotting vids on youtube and you’ll see.

That's the 54. If you follow the freeway to the background, you can see the wide median that separates the east and west lanes past the 805 interchange.

When I was a student at SDSU we used to LOVE watching landings from downtown vantage points; but, they seemed so much steeper! Still very beautiful, this video!

I left my Heart in Beijing has anyone seen my girl? Awesome city to visit as I have been there four times. Another great city to visit is Xi'an. A must do if your traveling to China. Pray all are well in China and travel can resume to normal :)

I've never been to China but I'd like to travel there. It seems to be a country of some exotic culture, beauty, and I've done some googling out of curiosity and interest in possible future traveling, and what I have learned is that aside from the very large cities of Bejing and Shanghai (which are even more populated than L.A. and even New York, I think), there are numerous other major quite populated cities such as Nanjing, Changsha, Chongquing, Chengdu, Xian (as you mentioned), Hefei, Zhangzhou, Wuhan, Nanning, Wenzhou, and each of those cities are at least the size and population as US cities such as St Louis, Detroit, Atlanta, Seattle, Cleveland, Boston, etc. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The desert section of Australia is quite red. It would be a great place to film a movie which takes place or has scenes on Mars.
