I didn't know there was a name for this but I've been doing this for years...I actually have several techniques including this exact one...I currently have 30x 20 boards that I buy at the dollar store , I have like 30 that are complete and every wall including the ceiling of my apt are covered in this type of artwork...I thought I created this...Using different techniques results in beautiful art dumped out of the mind...My best friend said, as soon as someone sees my apt and takes pics, it's going viral...lol...it's beatiful....it's my safe place. ..drawing like this takes me away. ..20 years now...

I'm using Koh-i-Noor's Mondeluz aquarelle coloured pencils in this video. I'm using them without water this time 🎨🙂🌈

How would you do this in watercolor pencil?

In this video I’m using watercolor pencils but without adding the water on top 🎨 If I was using water, I would dip a paint brush in water and paint over the top of the colors to blend them. Some colors will blend well and some might not depending on what kind of colors are next to each other. Watercolor pencils are great, I’ll try make a video on how to use them in the future 🎨🌈🙂

Whenever I use colored pencil, I use alcohol to blend, and it works well.
