Unfortunately this feature is only available in the DaVinci Resolve STUDIO version. I will update the title to state that it is DaVinci Resolve Studio instead of just DaVinci Resolve, thank you for pointing this out. I apologize that this effect didn't work for you. If you want to create this effect in the free version, you can do that in the fusion page, use the 'lens distort' node there. I hope this helps!

Thank you, I am glad it helped! What I try to do is create a script with not only what I am saying, but with what is happening on screen. Also, I make mistakes sometimes, so I sometimes take multiple tries. Even if I speak well, I edit it afterwards to ensure what I am saying comes across with utmost clarity.

@@DaVint-hj8xu It's been demonstrated that when people have typos in their Thumbnails (and to an extent Titles), they get lower Click Through Rate. Getting anyone to click on YOUR video on the Homepage of KZbin is a fierce competition. The typos tip the scale in everybody else's favor, because most people would subconsciously think that if what they can see irks them, what's in the video could do it even more. Since your content is valuable, I'd thought I'd let you know that it could reach even more people if you'd only avoid having typos hurting your CTR, like for this video where your thumbnail says Depth of Feild instead of Depth of Field like your title does...

I see what you mean, however, my channel is more about how to do individual effects in each video, however, I have analyzed the videos from the channel "vox" and I see their style, how it has stop-motion like animations, and lots of fade transitions, as well as how they explain topics. If you want a video on how to do one of those or multiple of those, please let me know which one I should do.

I am not exactly sure what you mean by 'floating', but I assume that you mean the soft edges on the mask? Please correct me if I am wrong. Also, if you are more specific, and request a video, I'll be sure to find the time to make a video just for you!

@@DaVint-hj8xu I was trying to say the wiggle effect. I have learned that by myself though. I’m not sure if you did that by this way, but I just make objects wiggle by adding perturb modifier. I’ve subscribed to your channel. Keep the great work up. I’m looking forward to your next videos.
