Hi! Would you like to review a smart irrigation controller? It connects to Wi-Fi, allowing you to manage all watering through the app, and it can automatically skip watering based on the weather

Completely cleared off a 30x 20 ft small lot front lawn due to a super high concentration of Creeping Charlie and wanted to reseed in fall. So right after the4 th of July I low cut the yard, followed by a high dose age of ground clear. I let it die down and then kept the dead area watered in to bring up anything wanting to still grow. I hit everything again which was mostly creeping Charlie. It was now early august. I then took a rotor tiller to the dead thatch and busted everything up good, while pulling up dead vines of the cc. I planted KYB and by October the yard looked like a million bucks. It looked good the entire next season, then the second spring creeping Charlie came back lik3 it was never gone. Unless you can live on these properties and put several hours per month to stay on too of it, it’s impossible to beat. I think it grew during the winter, sent out its vines and rhizomes undetected

I have creepy Charlie all thru my garden and potato patch !Drives me nuts !I can fill up wheel barrow loads of it pulling and cutting it out ! Always comes back ! This past fall I thoroughly tilled my garden with a big machine !As soon as I had it tilled I seeded in Winter Rye Grain Seed heavily ! For the first time ever the creepy Charlie did not return ,the winter rye won that battle . I had beautiful thick full tall rye grain all winter. In the spring I chopped it down ,let it lay .I then filled it in . I finally got a little creepy Charlie now in July in my potato patch but much much less .

Do not spray Dicamba with a hand sprayer unless you have a respirator. Dicamba contains Benzene which is a known carcinogen, I guarantee that exposure to the fumes for an hour or more will make you sick. Triclopyr is a systemic herbicide, application of 150% of labeled rate with some surfactant will eradicate creeping Charlie. Spray fall and after first flush in the spring. 2 years and it will all be gone. People have issues with herbicide not working because they spray a low rate and it just isn’t effective. Additionally, an application of a liquid boron product will suppress the weed, it only grows in boron deficient soil. Boron is a leachable nutrient, so applying every few years is necessary.

Curiously, I see blooms here that appear to be a yellowish-green color. Will those blooms eventually be blue or another color?

There are some varieties that are green. 'Limelight' is one.

I always disconnect the wiring to the MAF . And the hose clamp from the air intake hose where it meets the air filter hosuing . This way to easily remove the top of the hosuing . So I can see completely as I put in the new air filter . Making sure I seat it completely .

"Weed" is an opinion. And in my opinion, lawn grasses that are not native to my area are the real weeds. I'd rather have the pollinators like Creeping Charlie or clover than Zoysia or Kentucky Blue. When men finally wake up that a "lawn" is just an aesthetic choice and has detrimental effects on a local ecosystem because they are ecological wastelands, then there is hope.

Hi Dr Simoni-Wastila, I hope this message gets to you. I have been trying to contact the Sugarloaf Unitarian-Universalist Church for a while now. I'm in a terrible, ongoing spiritual crisis. I have been unable to connect to anyone. I sent a Contact email from the website. I tried to join the Zoom today (5/26/24), but it said the zoom hadn't started the whole time. I am experiencing many health problems, have been under an incredible amount of stress for about a year, and have lost almost all faith. (The health problems are why I didn't make it in person). I could really use some help. My name is Steve. Please respond here if you can so I know this got through. I also left a phone number on the contact email. Thanks for your help.

Professor although I dont like to use chemicals there is now way I am using your method in try to kill creeping charley. I am too old to be bending down to pull weeds by hand. I got rid of my infestation by using triclopyr in conjunction with other herbicides. It took about 2 bouts of spraying the cocktail about 3 weeks apart.

Hi. I just found you, and am very intrigued. I have given up suger, and as such, gave up alcohol, too. I'm "lucky", or maybe "unlucky" in that the sugar is harder to give up than the alcohol. 🙂 Also feel lucky in that I'm fine to be at a social function and order club soda with a lime. Feels like a cocktail.

Good video, couldn't agree more with the points you make. I like to think of the effect caffeine has on your body, the energy boost it gives you, then remember that the caffeine itself doesn't have energy, it tricked your body in to releasing energy already stored with an inevitable comedown later. Similarly alcohol tricks your body in to temporary happiness and elation. We all tend to think alcohol is the vehicle to this state, but it's all just a trick, you body already had the tools inside you, alcohol hacked them and screwed with your levels and of course you will suffer an immediate hangovers plus a host of other longterm adverse effects.

This is excellent information. The part about the rats was really interesting. Also the point you made about the addict who was seemingly okay with the state of his existence. I've also stopped drinking for good and something I considered when I heard that statement you made is that humanity itself seems to be okay with a kind of sub par existence even without drugs..there are so many types of addictions in this material reality that fill our time with meaninglessness and keep us from truly connecting with a greater essence..My goal for the next decade is to really try and get in touch with that something greater, spiritually and otherwise, within myself. Greetings ❤
