This looks great, put some felt, or carpet underlay, under the track on the elevated sections to reduce the noise :)

Go for it, it looks much better then the actual one and has still a wide radius curve, but better spotted. I like the chicane, I've added a similar before my last corner too. 😊

That's the problem with the Ford Capri, which has a protruding rear, just try trimming it with weights without magnets. I've had same problems and use Ortmann tyres.

@@ButchersSlotcarJournal will you really drive with magnets? There are two magnets build-in out of box. One is in front of the motor, the other one under the rear axle. If you like to trimm the car, i think best position is in front and beneath the engine on the chassis. But, idk what's the best weight to trimm with. Learning by tuning 😉 I have to do it with my Capri too, i'm at the start line.

I have a small space I could spare 8-9 feet long and 5 1/2 feet wide maybe 6 would this layout work !!

Nice new track configuration. Look forward to seeing your next circuit idea . Yes, that first corner could cause some problems being hidden from view 🤔 driving Carrera without the magnets can be fun ...some run ok some are terrible. You can play around with adding weight and also sometimes leaving just one magnet in can make the car fun to drive .of course, without the magnets, you might want to try different tryes too .I run 90%of my cars without magnets 🙂Greetings from Latvia...Harry

It's a good-looking new track you have put together, Micheal This one only has 2 small blind spots in it when compared to the huge one you had with the old track. Blind spots may not be easily avoidable, but small ones like you have on the new track mean that your car is not out of sight for as much of the lap as it was with the old track. Looking forward to seeing what your final track design will look like.

Hi Mark This track design is definitely better than the previous design. We will first try this one out extensively and then try one or two more before I want to settle on one. The only problem I currently have with this track is the 3rd corner consists out of 2 radius 1 curves and this is causing a lot of crashes, mainly by my son who like to drive the cars hard.. We will keep trying to smooth out these kind of things.. Thanks for your reaction

Ease off on the throttle as you go through the turns, especially when the turn is blind and you can't see the car as it goes through it. Your driving will improve as you continue to practice.

Hi Mark, Thanks for the advice. The Ferrari has an issue with the guide currently. It's getting loose. With every deslot I need to push it in again and it's demolishing the braids ;-(. About the track, I really like the flow of the trck, but I don't like the amount of blind spots, so I need 2 things: - New cars - Less blind spots on the track I'm a little budget limited for buying cars, but watch this space for my second track to try out.
