Hello, you can only apply to do the masters in nursing if you have a Bsc in another field. to the best of my knowledge HND is not acceptable for now. But that is not to say it won’t be in the future. So just keep an eye on the schools website

@@connie.e6933 after your first clinical placement you will be able to work as a bank support worker with the nhs trust where you did your placement. They will send you all the online trainings you need to do a well as the physical training. With all these you will be able to work. No special training. Because they can see you are a student nurse who have had some trainings

It’s a major requirement but heard some schools accept waec if it is less than 5 years. I will advice to get the Ielts because with that you can apply to as many schools as possible. Also they might choose someone with Ielts first.

Nothing much, I have spoken about this in some of my videos. Year 1 starts with classroom lectures , assessments and then placements. Year 2 follows the same trend, sometimes you still have to submit assessments during placement. I think these things were done purposely to make us feel the heat.

Hello, the auxiliary training certificate will be helpful, first is to write out names of school you are likely to go by searching “Bsc nursing Uk”. Go to their requirement and see if you have all they need. From there you can put in your application either directly from the school website or thru ucas ( there will be a link on the school website to take you there) . Basically just keep going from there on

You can work around it, for instance you can tell them during placement that you can only do three long days e.g mon to wed due to some reasons then have other days off for your work.but you must be a very strong person to do this schedule.

Heyyy, good to have you here. To be honest I used my first week to soak things in, the next couple of weeks all I did was watch how people do things and the rationale behind it , asked questions, focused on skills I need to get my competencies signed off, asked to do things, asked lots of questions. 6 months in now, I am still a baby critical care nurse but I am not where I used to be I have learnt so much and proud of how far I have come. In a nutshell. Just focus on harnessing your core nursing skills and things will start falling in place. My last tip for you is to go into your job with an open mind , no preconceived notion, and just be open to learning. I wish you all the best in your new role as a RN😇

It’s better you write your test before you start, so you can submit it during your application process but if you have not written it you can apply but you will be given a conditional offer letter pending the time you will submit your Ielts result. This conditional offer will be for a specific period of time. Reason I advice to get it before submitting is that if the school have lots of applications they will screen out people without Ielts first and concentrate on others. Either ways put your application forward, submit and take it from there. I hope this helps

At the moment only phd students can bring dependents to the Uk, but once you finish this program you will be able to bring your dependents

They calculate it in hours, for most people it’s less than three months. All you need is 600- 800 hours. You work it out on your convenience .
