What Ariana means in that line is that she just wishes to forget him so she can move on and be happy again. Also, the boy is mine is meant to sound cocky. She's mentioned in interviews that true story sets up the boy is mine as a bad girl anthem where she plays into the role that the media has made of her and her situation.
