Hello, so my brother got a Lenovo t530 ThinkPad and it was working normal for about 2 weeks then all of a sudden it says "repairing disk errors" on startup and it's been like that for 2/3 days now... And I was bonding is there a way to factory reset it cause it doesn't go to the windows recovery at all it just restarts.. I've heard about the Reset hole but can not find one...

I'm performing some long needed maintenance on my dad's N5110 right now as well. it too has a 034w60 Motherboard with a Intel Core i5 2450M. I'm replacing the SATA HD that it came with it with a SSD, and I'm boosting up the RAM with an additional 4GB, for a total of 8GB. I was just thinking if the CPU was worth upgrading as well. I've seen multiple sites say that i7-2960XM will work with them if you get a higher wattage power adapter. But I see even used ones are around $50 apiece. Can you or anyone recommend a less expensive (<$20) CPU upgrade? Or should I just stick with the I5-2450M? My dad doesn't do any gaming or anything. Thanks!
