I could watch these all day.. Those days were really magical..Today is just ...ummm.. devoid of emotion, very self-centered world where corporate greed replaced anything that was special. But hey, at least we have KZbin so we can watch these videos and relive those times. Simple..

We may look back at these times with great nostalgia, but remember, there are good things happening in your life right now that you'll look back on fondly, too. ✨

I was born in 81 and Christmas is definitely not what it used to be. Everything was better movies,tv,music, going shopping.Even people's attitudes.

Have noticed it's usually the same hawkers.....Pepsi, McDonald's Disney etc........some things don't change much apparently. CHRISTMAS THE RETAILERS DREAM COME TRUE. Today though, some people are growing tired of the hollowness and are giving to the needy, and many folks are going handmade, or essueing this day altogether. REMEMBER THE REASON FOR THE SEASON.....IS JESUS.

I loved this video so much - thank you❣️ Could you possibly do one on the 90s commercials? Especially the first half of the 90s that I remember most fondly ❤️ Would love to see ones from the holiday season back then ❤️❤️❤️

I'm going to go on a limb, if it's ok: I was born in Seattle in 1973. I REALLY wish I could find a Christmas jingle, that was used as background music for a Taco TIME commercial in late 1989 (NOT Taco Bell, Taco TIME). And, it was also used for an International Jewelers Christmas commercial at the end of 1998, and the commercial starts by saying, "Jingle Bell....Rock!" It starts with about 15 "plinks" possibly a high piano key. If anybody has any idea, please let me know!

I do miss thumbing thru the JCPenney and Sears catalogs and picking out my wish list as a child. I'm going on 50 yrs old now. Reminiscing on memories here. Yes, Christmas is not the same anymore.

It's amazing how relevant Disney had made all of its classics that came decades before the 80s. Yet the 80s was obsessed with them. Like those cartoons were decades old and yet the culture in the 80s was ready to spend money on any new merch that came out. VHS releases and theatrical re-release was there to help but some other magic was going on. The 80s is like another world

Your older now. As kids we were naive to the world. However, I do agree that things are different. Kids aren't innocent anymore and that's our generations fault. We created these horrible phones, allowed our children to stare at them for hours on end, ingesting the horrors of the world. Our generation is the one that figured out how to capture everyones information and create algorithms to get inside peoples heads and constantly pumble ourselves with advertising. Hell, I'm watching a 6 hour video of ads as I type. I must go.

🤔the good old days, I remember one Christmas season I would sneak and look what gifts was under the tree, and when I found out one of the gifts was a Super Nintendo I would play it while mom was at work and carefully put it back in the rapping afterwards nobody found out. Had to act surprised in Xmas day🤭
