I always thought Sims 1 was the best.... from the music to the graphics. I remember my mind being blown when I saw the game in the shop, and my dad bought it for me immediately :)

Loved playing this game as a kid. Was so relaxing to look out the window at the trees and street while building a house and using the Rosebud cheat code of course :)

I love how the music on the items menu was really happy usually. But then the music on building was sometimes really dramatic.

It's, melancholic, depressing, sad, nostalgic and beautiful all the same. Make sure that you raise your kids with the same interest and wonder for games and entertainment that you had when you were a child.

Ty for posting! Such great feels watching this. I was born in 86, and took up classical piano when I was young. I’m not kidding when I say I printed out sheet music of the Building Mode(s) tracks and learned them lol. I actually played one in a live performance at a vineyard/restaurant I frequented, and someone recognized 😁
