inspired by true events = also die ganze story stimmt nicht. man konnte wohl bei dem budget nichts gscheites machen, Röhrl wurde nicht mal angefragt. so kann man Kino auch kaputt machen.

Röhrl says that this film is the biggest rubbish he has ever seen. He said that he hopes he doesn't have Alzheimer's, because the film has absolutely nothing to do with his memories. A lot of it is ridiculous and wrong, and no one from production has ever contacted him to ask him about anything. Unfortunately, a huge opportunity was missed. The scene in which the Lancia 037 jumps over the hill and you can hear the engine sound of the Audi Quattro is very funny. Or the scene in which the Audi Quattro pulls the handbrake at the beginning of a bend - the Audis never had a handbrake that you could use while driving...

I wish this trailer weren't edited at the same tempo, in the same style, as any typical indie thriller. Whispery plot points, cuts to black, fast cuts, endless spoilers. You can tell that this film deserved something far less formulaic.

The Lancia was only 2 WD, but it was a proper mid-engine racing car, designed as such from the beginning. The Audi was, of course, a 4WD but it was also bigger and heavier, derived from a road car and with the engine at the front. All in all, the championship was more evenly balanced than many think.

Why are there so many racing films that feel like they're being commissioned by Disney and made with AI. Overly polished and wooden by the looks of the trailer

This movie started off as the most perfect story ever and quickly deteriorated to a major disappointment. I’ve never before had the urge to take a movie and edit it, it’s just such a shame. Half way through it stops making any sense. Why would he blow his cover for Maya, they barely even talked to each other. Why would they start living together, why does he demand to stay at the gardens in the end. Maya shows barely any emotion through the whole movie. I hope someone remakes this, the concept is so good
