WWE knew her limitations…thats why 80% of the times she was sent out there with someone else Bayley, Natty, etc when she had to cut a promo. That’s probably also the reason she HATES Alexa Bliss sooo much….Alexa wrestling is C or B level at best…but her promo skills are ELITE…

Wasn't a big talking point for most of the year that Tony Khan has too much say in creative and he should delegate roles? Well he has. He's basically giving Moxley total freedom on this Death Riders angle, Will Washington works on Swerve's stuff, Jen Pepperman does Moné's stuff, RJ City with Mariah May and Toni Storm etc. Should Tony Khan have everything on his plate or not? I'm confused

I don't know of any metric that indicates Ospreay would have been any bigger draw than Swerve. Even when he came in with all the attention, he wasn't spiking quarters or moving crazy PPV buys. Ospreay's great, I get why everyone likes him. I like him! He's fantastic. But I've listened to this show for months and months and the insistence on Ospreay over Swerve is so far removed from any other analysis that's typically on the program. There's no justification for it past vibes. Ospreay and Swerve had a feud this year. Crowds were hotter for Swerve! Even on this week's show he was one of the few guys who got an audible and undeniable reaction. And his segment was in the middle of that dead show, not the opener. This concept that AEW may have missed out on Ospreay even though he has yet to actually tangibly move anything is frustrating audio.

I don't think it's just AEW's presentation of her that's the problem. At lot of her weaknesses, that WWE was able to mitigate or hide, are exposed in AEW.

I mean if they could do it anywhere close to as well as wwe is currently doing it, there wouldn’t be a problem, but this shit is amateur hour. Be a good wrestling show, not a bad imposter of a sports entertainment product.

AEW should never have been a weekly tv show. It always should have been a monthly or biweekly ppv promotion. The needs of a tv show and audience expectations over time don’t match up with what aew fundamentally wants to be- an American version of a Japanese wrestling promo not a sports entertainment production company (something they’ll never beat red hot wwe at regardless.)
