Are there any versions on KZbin that edit out the petri wine advertisements? Everyone I have found doesn't. I mean, I don't mind them, but man, after the 20th time, it gets so old, and I eventually give up.

I love listening to Lux Radio Theatre whilst I get some sleep. It's quite soothing. I may have NOT been alive when it first started airing over the radio but it's still really cool to listen to it on KZbin during the 2020s.

I quit smoking 20+ yrs ago and haven't felt the urge till I started playing these Dragnet Radio Tapes with Fatima and Chesterfield (my Dad smoked these)...I use these vids to fall asleep (Jack Webb has that monotone fast talk that is hard to follow if you don't pay attention)...And easy to just tune out. I don't think I've stayed awake thru a complete show maybe 3 or 4 times in 100 occasions... Better than pills or alcohol, but I wake up looking for my smokes TWICE now... G'night all...

The sound quality is great! Same as the cassette recordings of these shows I used to have. I believe all of KZbin has commercials unless you pay for a KZbin premium membership.

I listened to this one yesterday and recognized June Allison right away by her voice but today i Googled her and discovered that she was married to Dick Powell at the time this was recorded. And they had a son in 1950 so she was talking about their pregnancy in the episode. They also adopted a child thru an agency in Tennessee run by Georgia Tann who was later found to be operating an illegal adoption center. She kidnapped babies from poor families and adopted them thru her own black market. A local judge rubber stamped the adoptions. A really evil woman.
