You got a tune or tricking your computer? Badass swap dude!
@samcoffey47118 күн бұрын
@@TheRustWhisperer Thanks, not a thing done. It's a 03 so its not rev limited to 3k rpm like the 05+ Vic's are after swapping. I put the auto range sensor in Neutral and ziptied it up. Only issues I have is constant cooling fans running at max and on decel if you don't blip the throttle before pushing the clutch it'll stall. This is due to the pcm cutting the ignition to help engine brake when slowing down. The fans running all the time is the pcm think the auto is overheating

I mean for a 250 for 1,700 on amazon, I wouldn't expect no maintenance. The thing is (as a someone who owns a CRF 300l and a CRF450) I don't know a single sane 250 rider who wants to ride one on the road. How does it hold up on the dirt track driven like a druken Eli Tomac?

The thing I hate about buying one of these bikes from Amazon is the shipping cost as compared to many of the online dealer/ sellers. Amazon is about 100.00 dollars more. I wish I knew if Amazon notarizes the MCO as my state requires that it be notarized by the dealer, or they will not process the paperwork.
@samcoffey47116 ай бұрын
Orion powersports ships them for free. And they sign everything you need to get the title. Mine is on its way in the mail. KY is required as well. They charge a 30$ notary fee at Orion but after that it's ready to take to the clerk and get inspected and send off for the title.

At a fraction of the cost of a new name brand bike I won't complain. It does bounce around a bit but I keep it pretty full anyways so thats not a problem. It honestly sounds worse on camera. I don't hear any of the noise like that in person. I didn't have the GoPro zip ties to the handle bars so I'm sure it was picking up a lot of different vibrations aswell. So far I'm very satisfied with it for the price. It ain't nothing to brag about but said and done it'd get you there and back and cheaply
