HI João! Cradle Mountain, Tasmania (but you can't see the mountain in this video). It starts looking down into Crater Lake then moves across for a view of Dove Lake

Thanks, Angela! I hadn't seen this comment before. Goodness knows if the pronunciation was correct, but I think we got into the spirit of it.

Great, David! Can I suggest: 1. You use a metronome to create absolute precision in the timing 2. You sing the whole round right through first, before creating the canon. (That would make it easier to notate!) (Or could you please email me a copy?)

Thanks, Judy! I did use a metronome, but, in spite of my best efforts in the time In had, I still managed to stray a little now and then. You may or may not have noticed that there was only one video used three times.

Lovely, folks, just lovely. Ave Verum Corpus began my Australian premiere of my war requiem, "Pacific Requiem", on the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Darwin. It was the perfect warm-up piece for the concert sung by the Darwin Chorale in March 2017 (at the Darwin Memorial Uniting Church). You do it justice.

I wish in the middle of the parade. The dragons would grow wings and fly into the sun and explode! Also 4:05 is my favourite bit in the video. NOICE GARY! The car nose dived, down the ditch with Eddie at the wheel. He screamed out the window "THE CAR IS MOVING!!" *CRASH* Dead! R.I.P EDDIE NICE

That looks incredible! Best wishes to all for the production of Marco, which I remember fondly from... ~1989?. Does having "Marco" taught by Arco cause some confusion in translation? Just make sure he's not teaching string instrument bowing technique at the same time! And was that Manuka doing homework?!

Hi Matt! Great to hear from you! It was she, being very diligent, from what I saw. Arko has been doing a great job in both his rehearsal conducting and in personally rhyming with the opera title. All having a great time here!

So it seems. Next thing you'll be back to being a sop. Edmund let me sing alto in one movement of a Purcell work a few years ago. It was fun. Maybe I couldn't have done it without all of those Bendigo winters.

Must be very cold down there in that case! Bendigo also turns tenors into altos.

Di, you are giving away all of my personal secrets! When I left Queensland in 1973 I sang bass. By 1978 after 5 years in Tasmania I had become a tenor. This is what Tasmania does to Queenslanders.

Your voice is really suited to this kind of song, David. As it's quite high in places a lower key might make it just right for someone uncastrated like your good self... Noice work by Doug, too. ;-}

H i007Raulin You are welcome. It was a special treat to have the musicians. We went in June, which is a quiet time and just arrived at the train and bought tickets without any problem. It was just my wife and I. The attendants spoke good English. I guess in a more touristy time like Carnaval there might be a queue. Best to watch the weather over the days you are there and when the clear smog-free day arrives, seize the moment.
