Just out of curiosity what is the estimated cost of delivery of such a bike from Doncaster to Edinburgh?

had one just like it in 10th grade at 17 years old had it for a few months and some bean from over the southern border in a ford ranger did a left turn in front of me and it totaled the bike and damn near did me in too I still have problems and I'm 47 now broken bones some nerve damage I didn't let it get me down a few years after the crap I got a 89 zx 10 that a guy went down on some black lady moved over on him a older white guy and just kept pushing the side of her car onto him looking right at him he told me it seemed racist how it was but I got his bike fixed it up and like a fat head #$%%*&% sold it but got a nice 1990 FZR 1000 way faster then the 87 FZR had it rode it and I ended up messing it up long story and sad always cove your carbs kids if your going to polish your frame it will get into your carbes and your motor will suck all that fine aluminum in and there gos the crank so its in parts in my shad so after that I came across a 1988 FZR 1000 and had it for a bit and sold it and I'll tell you this I dont know if it the first year but that 1987 like the one in the video its faster then the 1988 now the 89 and newer motor is way faster but there's something about a 1987 FZR 1000

Way too miles and mods to just be stuck in a glass cage again. ride that baby! Without the original tyres fitted, why save it.

YOUR ASKING MORE FOR IT THAN A BRAND NEW ONE SO NO CHANCE..... CAN EVEN BUY A BRAND NEW pIAGIAO lml FOR A LOT LESS THAN YOUR ASKING FOR AN OLD INDIAN SCOOTER.. ITS WORTH ABOUT £400 IN INDIA AND AROUND 800 HERE IN UK

Hi there sorry that bike has been sold. Many thanks CHM
@MrVulcan196322 күн бұрын
Buy the 8th gen, all electrical issues sorted, not a roly poly like the 6th. :) As an aside, that's a good price considering the bike actually had a valve inspection, a task that is often skipped by owners.

@iancharlesworth3654 any bikes surviving 20 years plus is a credit to its owners. every bike i have owned from the 80s to 2000s have now been left to rot or have been completely destroyed according to DVLA.

It is certainly a case of badge engineering,, but as Chris said himself ( in not so many words), a good stab at being faithful to what BSA might have built themselves in the 21st century, were they still producing bikes.

I owned this bike until 2014, and did most of the restoration on it. Note that the larger clocks I fitted have been replaced with standard ones, and standard rear shocks have been fitted. Wonder if the electronic ignition is still on it? The vented brake disc is the only one I've ever seen on one of these. Wish I'd kept it!

The best touring bike in the world. All day long comfort. Good fuel economy. Enough power for a cheeky overtake. Handling that belies its size. Braking that is more than a match for most riders needs. Yes I want one 😂

Nice bike but why not put a new kick start rubber on it and a correct bolt on the footrest bracket, other than that it’s pretty good.
@michaelarchangel1163Ай бұрын
Delightful. I do presonally prefer the red colour scheme of the first S2 model but this model year doesn't have the upper engine problem that plagued that one. I think it was a bore or piston ring issue, causing scoring and undue slap.
