Hi. I know this video is 4 years old but this may help someone Great video. Here's an easy method I use to scale a vehicle, or anything for that matter, with one dimension. I'll use your truck as a reference. 1. Measure the height of the back side glass. 2. With the truck file open draw a circle then edit the X & Y to the dimension taken. Thats the diameter. 3. Place the edge of the circle at the top of the glass. It's now tangent to the top edge of the glass. 4. Select the truck, Press Ctrl+T (Free Transform) then Zoom in to the circle and the closest corner selection handle of the truck image. 5. Select the corner handle then drag the corner of the truck while holding the Shift Key to resize the truck image to where the bottom of the glass becomes tangent to the circle. Delete the circle layer Why circle and not a square? No matter what angle your lines are, the circle will always touch. If the image lines aren't horizontal or vertical a square is useless. Use a circle. Once you've dragged the truck image to the circle dimension everything will be to the correct scale.

I didn't see you account for overlapping/shrinkage for installation when you made each panel. I'm just curious if it's not something you do? Or maybe I missed it?

Im assuming this is just for mockups. I would assume you would just cleave a bleed when you print

7:28 Is it mandatory to put the image at a really BIG scale before rasterizing ? Can't we just rasterize the image when it was at the right dimensions at 24 inch ?

It is mandatory. If you rasterize it at that small scale. Well once you upscale it to print, it will look very pixelated.

Все проще. Создаете новый слой и прямоугольниками отмечаете будущие монтажные области. Выделаете все прямоугольники и конвертируете их в монтажные области. Через сочетание клавиш в 1 клик. Я так экспортрую множество полей. / Everything is easier. Create a new layer and mark future artboards with rectangles. Select all the rectangles and convert them to artboards. Through a combination of keys in 1 click. This is how I export a lot of fields.(google translate)

If the image from the side goes to the bonnet, how much room should be left on the side or is it better to leave more room on the bonnet for the bend?

i wonder if the installer started with the sides and then installed the hood... if he/she had started with the hood they could have had an easier time lining up the dots with the side panels. Definitely a tricky design to pull off despite it looking pretty cool on the computer.
