I remember seeing this a long time ago (like 6-7 years ago?) I was much younger and more into the horns rather than the locomotives, sort of found a tune or something out of it. Later on I completely forgot about this video, then I remembered it recently, and after a lot of digging around in KZbin and finding lots of videos with the same names, I found it! And man! What a collection of tones!

Deltic 16 had the similar engine fire whilst on the test run and it happened in Loughborough

First Deltic failure at Berwick not caused by a DPS committee member. Roger and the butterfly valve not guilty this time. Instead a contractor not bothering to tighten the traction motor cables.

A pair of the EMR VP185 power cars are bound for preservation. not sure what the future of this set is. hopefully someone takes it on as the workmanship put into this repaint is and result is absolutely stunning

@@virginhst539 would be the most comfortable railtour ever too if they get it running on them. Standards for the average punter has gone backwards since the HST, never liked the 254's when little and they were taking over from the deltics racing through Peterborough but i certainly appreciate them now when you see what has followed
