Do you use a fish finder when placing your rig?

Definitely, fish finders help a lot in finding underwater features.

Is this one prone to tangles on the cast with the soft D? Looking for something that’s recastable without pva useage
@TacticarpInternational
@TacticarpInternational 2 жыл бұрын
The Semi Stiff Coated Hooklink together with the Anti Tangle Sleeve will prevent tangles on the cast. If you're using soft hooklink, it will be more prone to tangles yes.

@@TacticarpInternational I meant more at the hook end. Had the soft D slip up and wrap round shank a few times. Annoying, this made me consider using the swivel and hook bead but still with a break in coating. So a cross between the German and combi/blowback

Oh yes, the soft section near the hook might be prone to tangles. We like adjusting the tungsten putty to get the correct length of the soft coating, making it shorter definitely helps.

Nicely presented video but the knot you used for the hair is a overhand knot and the other end is either an overhand knot or a figure of 8 knot.

Far better making a loop and trapping it with tubing for facilitating quick hook change rather than tying it off knotless.
